Most Memorable Moment at Rutgers

My favorite memory is my first NSBE Nationals Convention with the Minority Engineering Educational Task in Detroit, Michigan. It was so amazing to see so many black engineers from ranging age groups and professions looking to help their fellow members to the best of their ability and going out of their way to ensure that I was pointed in the right direction for an opportunity up my ally. It was a great bonding moment for getting to know MEET members as a freshman and I was really able to create with so many meaningful relationships with people I have in my life now.

The moment at Rutgers that sticks out the most for me is when I got up at 4 am to lifeguard at Werblin and even though I was tired and had a full day of classes, I was excited to get to work and see my coworkers because I really liked the involvement and knowing I'm valued somewhere.
