Summer Academy Centers - Anne Arundel County Public Schools

The Elementary Summer Academy program offers high interest activities and small group instruction to help elementary students maintain and improve their reading/ language arts and mathematics skills during the long summer break. This is not a remedial program, but one designed to help students gain skills and confidence so that they return to school in the fall with an "I can!" attitude toward learning. Thousands of students have participated in the Summer Academy program since its inception in 1989. Evaluations continue to reveal that 99 percent of the parents were satisfied with the program and believed their child benefited.
