NYU Abu Dhabi University Preparation Program Parent Consent Form

NYU Abu Dhabi's University Preparation Program is designed to demystify the college admissions process and expand students' ability to successfully navigate the college search process. This program will be particularly focused on the challenges faced by applicants to US universities who have attended high schools outside the United States. The University Preparation Program is open to male and female students of any nationality who are enrolled in a high school in the United Arab Emirates.

Program Details

Location: NYU Abu Dhabi Campus, Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi

Dates: Session 1-- July 8-11, 2019 Session 2--August 19-22, 2019

Timing: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Students selected to participate in NYU Abu Dhabi's University Preparation Program will be under a scholarship which covers the cost of participation, program materials, and lunch. There is no cost to the student or family. The University Preparation Program will be run by staff of the NYU Abu Dhabi Admissions Office, and some sessions may involve other university staff, such as members of the Writing Center and/or Career Development Center.

Parent Agreement

I understand that this is a day program and accommodation is not provided. I will ensure my child has transportation to and from the program. I understand that full participation is mandatory for selected students. I will ensure my child is on time each day and participates in all days of the program. I understand that students will not be awarded a certificate of completion if they are not present for all 4 days of the program.
