Arrangements for the Oral Thesis Examination/Dissertation Defense
This form is to be filed with the Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Studies at least 14 days before the date of the oral dissertation defense. Please notify the College if any change in arrangements is made. The oral thesis examination/ dissertation defense is public and faculty and graduate students are invited to attend. The Dean’s Office will send an e-mail announcement to faculty and graduate students upon receipt of this form.
IMPORTANT: Student must have established doctoral candidacy before scheduling oral exam. Please verify that a copy of Scripps College of Communication graduate form 10 is in the student’s folder before completing this form.
