Mike Loeffler is an Assistant District Attorney with the Creek County District Attorney's Office in Bristow, Oklahoma. He is also the municipal judge for the Town of Kellyville, Oklahoma. Mr. Loeffler is also employed as part-time Adjunct Faculty at the University of Tulsa (1993-date) where he has taught Contract Law and Introduction to the Law.

He graduated with honors with a BBA in Economics from the University of Oklahoma, Price College of Business in 1985 and graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma, College of Law in 1987. Mr. Loeffler also attended the University of Oklahoma-Oxford University Student Exchange Program in the United Kingdom at Queen's College, Oxford University in 1986. He is licensed to practice law in all federal district courts and state courts in Oklahoma, and the Supreme and inferior courts of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Creek County Bar Association (President 1991-1992 & Treasurer 1994-date). In 2006, he received the Alma Wilson Award from the Oklahoma Bar Association (OBA) for distinguished service as a prosecutor for assisting children of families affected by drug and alcohol addiction. In 2009, he was awarded Prosecutor of the Year in Oklahoma by the OBA Criminal Law Section.

As an Assistant District Attorney since 1990, he has tried scores of jury trials and been primarily responsible for the filing and disposition of thousands of criminal and traffic cases, including several capital cases. He was formerly in private practice of counsel with the law of firm Loeffler, Allen and Ham (founded by Louis Loeffler in 1919) in Bristow and Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He also has worked for the former Oklahoma Appellate Public Defender's Office (1986-1987), and Cleveland County, Oklahoma Legal Aid (1987). He has also taught probable cause affidavit-writing and search/seizure law to law enforcement officials at Central Tech, Drumright, Oklahoma and at various formal/informal meetings throughout the state for many years.

In addition, Mr. Loeffler currently recently completed three years’ service as Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Drug Court Professionals) in Alexandria, Virginia. He also serves on national steering Committee of the National Center for DWI Courts and as a Fellow for the National Drug Court Institute (NDCI). As an NDCI Fellow since 2001, he has spoken to groups from all fifty states on various topics and conducted process and outcome evaluation with respect to the Drug Court Program Initiative developed and held jointly with the Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice.

Mr. Loeffler is a third generation lawyer and rancher. He has been married for twenty-five years to his wife, Stacy; and they have two adult children, Greg and Holly. His family lives on a working cattle ranch near Bristow, Oklahoma that has been in his family for three generations.
