End of Year Reports were sent home with children this afternoon and where necessary the second End of Year Reports were posted. Being the last week of school next week, we have a few events on that you may like to attend:

Monday 16th December: 2.20 - 3.00 pm. Final Assembly (in the church) run by our School Captains and featuring our

wonderful staff act! Which I haven't been allowed to know about. 3.10 - 4.10 pm. Thank you afternoon tea for Parents (in the hall).

Tuesday 17th December: 6.00 pm. Year 6 Graduation Mass (in the church) followed by a celebration at the Altona Sports Club

for Year 6 students and staff.

Wednesday 18th December: 9.15 am. End of Year Mass. At this mass we will celebrate our school year, farewell staff and

students who are leaving and announce our 2020 School Leaders. 3.20 pm: SCHOOL FINISHES.

STAFF LEAVING: Teachers: Ms Alyce Myszka, Ms Hayleigh Davis, Ms Melysa Cathcart, Mrs Karen Aston & Mr Ethan Tartaglia. Learning Support Officers: Ms Sarah King & Ms Kathleen Smith. Congratulations to Ms Kathleen Smith who obtained a teaching position at St. Francis of Assisi, Tarneit.

CONGRATULATIONS: To the following past students of St. Marys for these outstanding achievements: Olivia Vella - achieved an ATAR score of 98.35 and was awarded DUX of Mount St Joseph's. Khiem Nguyen - has been appointed Arts Captain at Emmanuel College for 2020. Noah Luppino - has been appointed McCoy Sports Leader at Emmanuel College for 2020.

SCHOOL MASTERPLAN: Thank you to the parents that have already responded to the Care Monkey letter, design plans and request for a response sent out this week. I encourage a response from as many families as possible. These need to be in by next Thursday 19th December. I will collate the responses and pass all of the information over to the Parish Masterplan Committee at the end of the week. It is the Parish Masterplan Committee that will have the final say and submit the application on behalf of the school I apologise for the short timeline and the time of year but the second round of applications need to be in by the 6th March.

EMMANEUL NEWS: Welcome back to our team of 20 students who attended this week's Australian Catholic Youth Festival in Perth. Congratulations to our senior student leaders on their impressive involvement in last week's leadership camp in preparation for their roles in 2020 and to our ACC student leaders on their commissioning at the recent ACC 2020 launch. Very well done to our Year 7s on their recent outstanding concert, playing instruments only learnt this year!
