Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Partnership Agreement with the Department of Eduation
Last year, the NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) and the Department of Education entered into a renewed partnership agreement (2020-2030). Walking Together, Working Together. The NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group Inc (NSW AECG) and the NSW Department of Education agree to use our best endeavours to ensure that every Aboriginal child and young person in NSW achieves their potential through education. To recognise the significance of this agreement, the Director Educational Leadership of the Eastern Creek Network, Jason Miezis; our local AECG President, Kerry Burns; and I, as the Principal of Minchinbury Public School, signed the agreement. Please take the time to read the agreement pictured below.

Our very own student Jordan Abassi received a gift from a stranger. On the day of our swimming carnival, Jordan found a mobile phone on the bus. He handed the phone in. We were able to locate the person who lost the mobile phone. The person who lost the mobile phone was so very grateful! Thank you Jordan!
