If you did not have either of these courses as part of your original training set when you started in the job then you do not need to renew any training the following year given that you remain in your current department and/or department training does not change from the prior year. If you are unsure of your training requirements speak with your direct supervisor for clarity or call the Training Department at x4483.If you transfer to or have a second job within another department that includes additional training that you have not already taken you must complete and pass the additional training before your first day on the new job and renew required training each year you continue in the job(s). Your courseware will be a combination of any of the following courses:Asbestos AwarenessBack SafetyBloodborne PathogensFirst AidConfined SpacesElectrical SafetyForklift SafetyHazard CommunicationGHS Hand and Power ToolsLadder SafetyLockout/TagoutOffice SafetyPersonal Protective EquipmentRespiratory ProtectionYou can make a request for courses to be added or removed from your department with the Training Department at x4483. To find and preview new courses available through Otis see “Discovering Courses with Otis Store”Employee Training AccessEmployee Safety Training Access Soon after orientation you will be set up as a user within OTIS to complete the training required for your department. When you are set up you will receive an e-mail that looks like this.The email will contain the web address and your login information. Please note your login info will expire 10 days after this e-mail is sent so be sure to login within that time frame. If you don’t receive an e-mail, call Candra Garrett at x4483.If this is your first time ever working at Moody your login should be the following as a first time user:If you have completed safety training as a Moody employee (even as a student) before your password will most likely be the following:Once you login in for the first time, you will be prompted to enter a new password for your account. This will be a unique password the employee chooses and will be expected to remember.Once logged in, you will see your dashboard. The top ribbon of your dashboard includes options for help and support, notifications, and your account logout. You can view your notifications of recent activity with your account by selecting ‘Notifications’ in the top ribbon.Just below this there are a variety of icons that provide specific information about your department and your training. Notifications are an available option here as well.Lastly, you should see a listing of your training courses, these are designated as “tasks” which have been assigned to you by the administrator of your group, typically your manager. To begin a training select ‘Start’ on the left hand side of the course. You can see the status of your training progress in each course by viewing the last column on the right titled ‘status’.On the left hand side of your screen you will see additional menu options. Select training history to see courses you have already completed.Select the reports option on the left hand side, then select ‘certificates and transcripts’ to run a report that provides training certificates of courses you’ve completed and/or a training certificate. Click build to run the report. *Tip: Be sure that your pop-up blocker is off so the report can generate. ................
