Job Purpose:

Manages all aspects of Museum Services and is on the Director's Team at The Children's Museum, Seattle

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANS RESPONSIBILITIES:

Museum Directors in exhibit updates through scheduling, researching, and organization

Organize temporary exhibit gallery

Communicate facilities needs to

3. 10% MANAGE MUSEUM RETAIL STORE OPERATIONS

Manage inventory that aligns with mission and events

Manage ordering process, pricing, and inventory

Coordinate product display in Retail Shop

Explore and recommend new ideas to enhance the retail shop

PERFORM HR DUTIES

Build and maintain the schedule

Daily time keeping of Staff

Process Payroll and Payroll upkeep.

Assist in hiring process and paperwork as needed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: B.A. or Masters Degree

EXPERIENCE:

Three or more years of experience in a non-profit organization or education system; Teaching, training, and mentoring; Volunteer programs; Working with children ages 010 and their families; Working at an organization that provides services to at-risk families; and Customer Service and/or retail.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Communication, organization, and computer skills; Leadership and mentoring; Conflict resolution; Self-starter; lift minimum of 20 lbs.; CPR & First Aid Certified; Flexible; Team Player; Self-regulating with projects; and Sense of Humor.
