Words are SpiritBy Ernesto RiveraThe scriptures tell us that Christ is a double edged sword that separates the thoughts and intentions of men. Heb 4:12 AKJV For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents [G1771of the heart.Heb 4:12 KJV For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents [G1771] of the heart. The word intent comes from the Greek word ennoia, Strongs G1771, which means thought, mind, will, understanding, etc. HYPERLINK "" \h G1771Original: ε??ννοιαTransliteration: ennoiaPhonetic: en'-noy-ahThayer Definition:the act of thinking, consideration, meditationa thought, notion, conceptionmind, understanding, will, manner of feeling, and thinkingOrigin: from a compound of G1722 and G3563TDNT entry: 20:08,6Part(s) of speech: Noun FeminineStrong's Definition: From a compound of G1722 and G3563; thoughtfulness, that is, moral understanding: - intent, mind. This word appears twice, once as intent in Hebrews 4:12 and once as mind in 1 Peter.1Pe 4:1 KJV Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind [...G1771, thoughts, intent, understanding...]: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; When we read in Hebrews that thoughts and intents are in the heart, it does not mean that thoughts and intentions exist within the walls of the physical heart. Instead, the heart is a parable for the mind, and thoughts and intentions exist in the mind. In the book of Matthew, Christ tells us that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.Mat 12:34 KJV O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart [...mind, thoughts, intents...] the mouth speaketh.Out of the mouth come the things that are in the heart. In other words, our words reveal/manifest what is inside of our minds. What we learn about thoughts and intents from the scriptures is that they are what Christ calls spirits, and they dwell in the inward kingdom of the mind. It is from the the abundance (sum) of words in our heads that our mouths speak. Look at how Christ, the quick and powerful Word of God, "divides asunder" the thoughts and intents of the heart. He says…Mat 12:35 KJV A good man out of the good treasure of the heart [...mind, thoughts, intentions...] bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure [...of the heart, mind thoughts intentions...] bringeth forth evil things. The thoughts and intents of the heart are not divided like man divides them. We dont judge men based on whether they wanted to do something or not. We know that no man has a free will. We know that no man does what He wants, because no man has power over his own thoughts or actions. No man walking around in this world understand to what degree they are being moved by their thoughts. They don't even recognize that "their" thoughts are not really theirs. So thoughts and actions should not be judged on whether a man freely thinks them or not. The Lord rules over all men, and all men play whatever role the Lord writes for them in this life. No man has power to choose what thoughts and intentions he will receive during his time in the flesh. No man. We have to recognize that this is true for us also. This is even true for Christ, who was only obeying what He was sent to do.Christ himself ties all these things together ever so beautifully for us. Christ says that words are spirit. Joh 6:63 KJV It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.We are also told, by Christ, that God is spirit, and is worshipped in spirit and in truth. Joh 4:24 KJV God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The word of God also tells us that no man has seen God at any time, except the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father; additionally, no man has heard his voice, ever.Joh 5:37 KJV And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.Joh 1:18 KJV No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom [...the heart, mind, intent, thoughts...] of the Father, he hath declared him.Christ says that He is in the bosom of the father. Bosom is another word for the heart, and the heart is a parable for the mind. Even our Father has a "bosom". He has a mind. God has his own will, his own intent and thoughts. In fact, Jeremiah tells us that the Lord does perform the intents of his heart.Jer 30:24 KJV The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.All thoughts are spirits. A spirit has no sound and no appearance. God is the Father of all spirits, and every spirit is subject to Him, and comes from Him.Heb 12:9 KJV Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits [...hearts, minds, thoughts intents...] and live?Spirits are a part of creation, and our Father is the creator of all spirits, and is working all spirits according to his will. Col 1:16 KJV For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth , visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers [...the invisible things, spirits…]: all things were created by him, and for him:Rom 1:20 KJV KJV For the invisible things [...spirits…] of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead [...the Godhead is one of the things that is made to understand God the Father...the Godhead is Christ…]; so that they are without excuse:Eph 1:11 KJV In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things [...the seen and unseen, the things of the heavens and the things of the earth…] after the counsel of his own will:Let's keep adding line upon line. God is eternal, immortal, and invisible. 1Ti 1:17 KJV Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. Our Father is outside of His creation. There is nothing eternal, immortal, and invisible in creation. Those words--eternal, immortal, and invisible, were created to describe our Father, but those words themselves, nor anything in creation itself is eternal, immortal or invisible, except the Father. This is truly important!!! God the Father is not what he creates.Unlike the many doctrines in the church world that would have us believe that God the Father is a person, or any physical or non-physical creation, the scriptures reveal the exact opposite. Our Father cannot be seen or heard because a spirit does not have a body or a voice.Joh 1:18 AKJV No man has seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.Joh 5:37 AKJV And the Father himself, which has sent me, has borne witness of me. You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.Any doctrine that would have toy think that God the Father is anything other than a spirit that cannot be seen or heard is not the doctrine of Christ. God is not a man nor is in the image of man.Num 23:18-19 AKJV 18 And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; listen to me, you son of Zippor: 19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?Rom 1:21-23 AKJV 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God [...not as a spirit, in thought and intent...], neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things. The Father is not anything that he brought out of the depths of the ground or the sea beneath, nor anything that he placed in the heights of the heavens. He is not in any of man's thoughts and inventions, whether thoughts of physical things or non-physical things.Deu 4:15-19 AKJV 15 Take you therefore good heed to yourselves; for you [...Moses...] saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spoke to you in Horeb out of the middle of the fire: 16 Lest you corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female, 17 The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flies in the air, 18 The likeness of any thing that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth: 19 And lest you lift up your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, should be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD your God has divided to all nations under the whole heaven [...the nations have all been given false gods to worship by the Father himself...].The Father is not in anything that He created because He is eternal, immortal, and invisible, and there is nothing in creation that satisfies the meaning of those words, not even the words eternal, immortal, and invisible themselves. So, God the Father is not in anything he created, but He is using His creation to reveal himself as per Romans 1:20.Rom 1:20 AKJV For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:A HUGE part of his creation is the invisible realm of spirits that we cannot see. This is where the Lord works from to move us around in this world. That is the invisible creation of God--the realm of the spirit. It's been hidden right inside of us since the beginning, but could not be revealed until Christ gave us the understanding to "see" things through His words.Remember, it's out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks [Luke 6:45]. In other words, a spoken word is a manifestation of a spirit, a thought, and Christ is the manifestation of what is in our Father's spirit, thoughts. Christ is the word of God.Rev 19:13 KJV And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.He was in the beginning with God, the Word was God.Joh 1:1-2 KJV 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God.Where was Christ, the word of God, in the beginning, prior to being "sent" out? Christ tells us. He came from the bosom of the Father, the heart of the creator. Christ was just a thought, a word, in our Father's mind.Joh 16:28 KJV I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.Joh 1:18 KJV No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom [...thoughts, intents, heart, mind...] of the Father, he hath declared him.Joh 3:13 KJV And no man hath ascended up to heaven [...the bosom of the Father…], but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. We know that bosom and heart are physical creations made to be parables for the non-physical creation of the mind. We also know that there are ONLY two types of minds in Gods creation--good and evil. Remember the parable of the two trees.Luk 6:43-45 KJV 43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. There are two hearts/minds in Gods creation, the spiritual mind and the carnal mind. In other words, there are only two types of ways to understand spirits/words, spiritually or carnally. Rom 8:6 KJV For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.Another name for the carnal mind is "spirit of error" and another name for spiritual mind is "spirit of truth". The spirit of truth and the spirit of error are the two "spiritual kingdoms" that exist. There is no other way to judge words/thoughts/spirits, except to separate them into intent according to truth or intent according to error. There is a mind of truth and a mind of error, and both can have the same exacts words/spirits within them. 1Jn 4:6 KJV We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.A very crude example would be this: "worship God" is a word/thought/intent in the mind. The spiritual mind, spirit of truth, will worship God according to truth, the sum of Gods word. The carnal mind, the spirit of error, will worship God according to error, not the sum of God's word. The intent is the same, but the understanding behind the intent is different. Christ tells us that if we continue in His word then we shall know the truth. The truth is found in continuing in Christ's words.Joh 8:31-32 KJV 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word [...the words I speak are spirit and life... the words are the works of the Father...], then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.We are also told that truth is found within the sum of Gods words. Some translations say that God's word is true from the beginning....Psa 119:160 KJV Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. But the more literal translations render Psalms 119:160 as, "the sum of your word is true."Psa 119:160 YLT The sum of Thy word is truth, And to the age is every judgment of Thy righteousness! So how do we continue in Christ's words? It's not just walking according to what we already know. This is obedience. But it means to continue to increase what we know, increase the sum of scriptures. The sum of the scriptures is where truth is found, and every word in the scriptures, from the beginning to the end, are all true. The sum of these words typifies the Holy Spirit. The sum of God's word is the truth, and God's word is Spirit. It follows then that God's spirit, His mind, is the spirit of truth, which reveals the sum of Gods word by giving us the desire to continue in it. This is exactly what we are told, the Holy Spirit of God is the Spirit of truth.Joh 15:26 KJV But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:Notice how the spirit of truth proceeded from the Father, just like Christ, the Word of God, came forth (proceeded) from the bosom of the Father. Joh 16:13 KJV Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.Joh 3:33-34 KJV 33 He that hath received his testimony [...the spirit of truth...] hath set to his seal that God is true. 34 For he whom God hath sent [...The Word... I came forth from the Father...] speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.The thoughts and intent in Christ are the thoughts and intent of the Father, because the words that are working in Christ's mind is the spirit of Truth, the words of truth, the sum of God's word. If our intent with our words and deeds is to be obedient to the truth, then we are hearing the words of truth, and have been given the faith to believe the sum of God's words, and continue to increase His word in us.How do spirits travel? How do words travel? How does Christ's spirit move from person to person, and how are we given the words that we need in order to understand the truth? Rom 10:17 KJV So then faith [...a spirit, a word that means "belief"...] cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.If we have heard the words of truth, and believe these words, and they are in our minds causing us to obey the Lord, then faith has come to us, and we too have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Eph 1:12-13 KJV 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth [...faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God...], the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,Then we can say, with Christ, that the thoughts that we think are not our own, and the words that we speak are not our own. Our thoughts and our words belong to our Father, through Christ, who was sent (revealed/manifested) into this world as words. Whatever words we speak, we do so because those words have been placed in our minds. Where do thoughts come from? Are they just "there" in our brains. How can something intangible exist in something tangible? Are thoughts really the firing of neurons and just a bunch of electrochemical reactions in our brains? No. All words proceed from the Father through the realm of the mind that he created. The Words of life proceed from the Father through the Words of Christ (The Sum of Gods Word), and are passed to us through what we have heard, and what we have seen (understood) in others; through whom the very word of truth, Christ, has also come. Joh 12:49-50 KJV 49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment [...He gave Christ the Spirit/Words to speak…], what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment [...the sum of His word…] is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.Lets add another word of truth to this. Christ says that Gods commandment is life everlasting. What else are we told about everlasting life? That the knowledge of the TRUE God and Christ IS life eternal.Joh 17:3 KJV And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent [...How? Through his commandment, the truth, the "sum of Gods word"...].Life eternal IS the TRUE knowledge of the Father and His Word. So, again, we are being told that as the sum of words in our minds [knowledge] increases then the understanding [manifestation] of the True God and Christ will increase, and we will continue to be lifted up out of the pits of death [walk in wisdom].Pro 9:10-11 KJV 10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. 11 For by me [...knowledge of the Holy, the beginning of wisdom, the fear/obedience of the Lord...] thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased. The continuing increase of the sum of Gods word in our minds is the filling of the spirit. Let's look at this beautiful revelation through the words of Ephesians 5:18-19.Eph 5:18-19 KJV 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit [...the sum/abundance of Gods word, truth...]; 19 Speaking [...making manifest those words that come out of the abundance of the thoughts in our minds...] to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs [...sharing our words, and thoughts in whatever capacity we have been given..], singing and making melody in your heart [...our collective minds, which is the one mind of Christ...] to the Lord; What makes one spiritual or carnal? If words are spirits, and words themselves are not good or evil, then what makes a spirit good or evil? How do we know if we are thinking spiritually or carnally, and that we are understanding things according to truth? How do we know we are not the ones in error? Being spiritual has nothing to do with our actions. If good works makes us spiritual, then there are people in the world that have not even heard of Christ who also preach loving their enemies. If I believed in reincarnation, and I loved my enemies because I was afraid of coming back as a cockroach instead of a more majestic creature, then my works are good, but the works are being done according to a spirit/understanding of error, evil. I hope that makes sense. The same is true for everyone. What makes us spiritual is not that we do or say, but the understanding behind what we do or say. Spiritual is a way of understanding spirits, and carnal is another way of understanding spirits. Being spiritual means that our understand of God's word is bound to truth, the sum/abundance of God's word. Being carnal means that our understanding of spirits is bound to error, anything but the sum/abundance of Gods word, including and especially having our thoughts bound to the physical world. Don't you know that whichever way of thinking we are bound to, we remain as servants to that way of thinking.Rom 6:16-23 KJV 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin [...error...] unto death [...more error, digging deeper into the earth...], or of obedience [...truth...] unto righteousness [...more truth, climbing higher into the heavens...]? 17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart [...in your minds...] that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. 19 I speak after the manner of men [...Paul is speaking with words/spirits on their carnal level of understanding...] because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members [...minds...] servants to uncleanness [...error, old understanding...] and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members [....minds...] servants to righteousness unto holiness [...the new spiritual understanding of the very same words that you've heard before...]. 20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 21 What fruit [...error in judgment...] had ye then in those things [...erroneous intentions...] whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death [...judging spirits/words carnally, and not judging them spiritually...]. 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin [...error..] is death [...continuing in error...]; but the gift of God is eternal life [...that they may know the Father and Christ..knowledge, wisdom, and understanding...] through Jesus Christ our Lord [...the spirit/word of Truth, the sum of Gods word...].This is judgment: to divide asunder and discern the spirits in our own minds, the thoughts and intents in our hearts, by comparing them to God's words. Heb 4:12 KJV For the word of God [...Christ, the abundance of the words of God...] is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner [...judge...] of the thoughts and intents [...spirits...] of the heart [...mind...].How long have we known that Christ is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and the tree of life. Gen 3:22 KJV And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become [...becoming...] as one of us [...walking in complete darkness...] to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live [...this is life eternal, to know the Truth about God the Father and Christ...] for ever:The knowledge of God the Father and Christ is the tree of life. When our thoughts and intents are one with the thoughts and intents of our Father then we will have life, comfort and hope in the truth, during our death, our time in this world. This is how we live while we are yet dead.Joh 11:25 AKJV Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead [...alive in this world…], yet shall he live [...live like we are already in the next world…]:The knowledge of God the Father and Christ is life. The knowledge of good and evil alone IS NOT LIFE!!!! The knowledge of good and evil not what gives us life. We can also call knowing good and evil "knowing Christ after the flesh". No matter what words you use to describe it, the knowledge of good and evil is when our thoughts and words are in bondage to error. The knowledge of good and evil alone is what causes us to walk in bondage to the carnal understanding of God's word [death] during our time in this world [death]. This bondage to death in death is typified by Adam and Eve being cast out of the garden into the cursed world, in their cursed flesh with their cursed mind and with no hope but death.Gen 3:23-24 KJV 23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 24 So he drove out the man [...into the world to be tormented by carnal thoughts and intents with no way of knowing the way of peace of mind...]; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life [...knowledge on how to overcome the death and torment that would come into their minds as they go through the issues of life, until their death..].At the time of our physical birth we are driven out into the world to be tormented by carnal thoughts and intents with no way of knowing the way to having peace of mind. Yes, we know that there is good and evil, and we may even know that there is a "higher power" (I speak as a fool), but we do not know the way of the tree of life. Without the knowledge of how to overcome the death and torment that enters into our minds as we go through the issues of this life, we will only be in bondage to the carnal spirits (thoughts and intents) of this world. It is only through the flaming sword of truth that we will be able to contend with carnal spirits. The flaming sword is God's word, the unity of the entire message of Christ. As long as our minds are filled with the things that belong to the truth, the God of peace shall be with us.Phi 4:8-9 AKJV 8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things [...Let these spirits be in you…]. 9 Those things, which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.PART IIWhen our minds are carnal, all of our hope is in what the people of this world call life, and we cannot see the end of our Father's creation, the new man and the new world to come. This current world is a parable, and a part of the parable is only being able to understand God's kingdom through spirits and the physical creation that spirits manifest as. So, until the end of this world, our Father is only dealing in parables. Heaven, light, tree of life, Noah's Ark, the Ark of God, Israel, Jerusalem, the temple of God, Jesus Christ, the Spirit of Truth, the Comforter, third heaven, the mind of Christ, spiritually minded, being in the spirit on the Lord's day, Jerusalem from above--these are all the seen and unseen creations that God has revealed to men throughout time for us to understand ONE thing, "the kingdom of God within you." The spiritual mind, the mind that desires to be one with the sum of God's word, is the kingdom of God, which is only a Kingdom of words and thoughts at present, that's why it's only within us now. Walking in obedience to the truth reveals to this world how the new man will behave in the world that will be!!! The kingdom of God within us is only a parable for what is promised at the end, the life in the world to come. The parable of this world will be completed at the resurrection (death of death). That will be the end for all, not just in type and shadow. The type and shadow of the end of the world, is when the course of this world "ends" for us at the revelation of God's truth in our . 1Co 10:11 KJV Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.Rom 6:8 KJV Now if we be dead [...to the course of this world...] with Christ [...through the Word...] , we believe that we shall also live [...according to the course of the world to come...] with him [...in newness of thought and deed…]:Our way of thinking according to error, also known as walking according to the course of this world, begins to end when we begin to understand the true/perfect understanding of God's word. When the old understanding of words is passing away and the new understanding of words is increasing, this world as a parable is complete to us. 2Co 5:17-18 KJV 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ [...the sum of Gods word...], he is a new creature [...walking and talking like a resident of God's kingdom...]: old things are passed away [...the spirit of error no longer interprets scripture...]; behold, all things are become new [...we understand scripture according to the sum of God's word...]. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; When we can see this world and the course of this world clearly as God's strong delusion, then we know that we know the Father, and we are starting to understand the truth. The spiritual mind is the inward kingdom of our Father. It is the sum of the spirit [Words] of truth. This is the mind that makes every man in this world a vessel of honour.2Ti 2:20 KJV But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour [...walk in truth, according to Gods kingdom...], and some to dishonour [...walk in error, according to this kingdom...].In this world, which God is using the carnal mind to rule over, the vessels of dishonour are those who are, in fact, in bondage to error, the carnal mind. Rom 8:6 KJV For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. The carnal mind is the inward kingdom of the first man, Adam. It is the sum of the spirit of error.1Jn 4:6 KJV We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth [...the sum of God's word is truth, the spiritual mind…], and the spirit of error [...SOME of God's word, the carnal mind...].The carnal mind is not subject to the truth. It's subject to its own desires--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, which are non-physical creations (thoughts) that are typified by their physical counterpart in creation, the corrupt bodies of this world.1Jn 2:16 KJV For all that is in the world [... the world of thoughts in all the carnal minds in the world...], the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world [...the world of error, whose thoughts are bound to this physical realm...].Both the spirit of truth, God's spiritual mind, and the spirit of error, man's carnal mind, are creations of the Father, but the Lord chose (separated, made holy) the spirit of truth to typify Himself. That is why, despite being told that "all that is in the world (the spirit of man)...is not of the father" we are also told that our Father forms the very spirit of the world that is within man.Zec 12:1 KJV The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens [...the spiritual mind...], and layeth the foundation of the earth [...the carnal mind...], and formeth [...works...] the spirit of man [...salvation of the mind...] within him.Eph 1:11 KJV In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:It's only through our Father's mercy and the gift of faith that we will be given eyes to see ALL things clearly. The carnal mind cannot make sense of the sum of God's word, and, therefore, stumbles on the parables spoken of Christ since the beginning. That is why when we are in this first state of complete darkness, we are nothing more than naturally-minded natural brute beasts. 1Co 2:14 KJV But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit [...sum of the words...] of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.Jud 1:10 KJV But these [...the carnal mind...] speak evil of those things which they know not [...the sum of Gods word, the spirit of truth...]: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.2Pe 2:12 KJV But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;Like the natural brute beast that want dominion over this world and to fulfill their own lusts, the carnal mind takes the little it may know of God's word, and uses it to fulfill its own desires. It's own desires being the desires of man and the desires of the world. 1Co 2:11-12 KJV 11 For what man knoweth the things [...words/spirits...] of a man, save the spirit [...mind, thoughts and intents..] of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.Also known as the spirit of man, or the spirit of the world, the carnal mind is typified by the serpent in the garden. The carnal mind is in man just as the snake and his words were in the garden (the world), and are being worked by the Lord.Gen 3:1-3 KJV 1 Now the serpent [...temptation, the giant in your land, the thorn in your flesh, that which makes you stumble...] was more subtil than any beast [...spirit/word of error...] of the field [...mind...] which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.Remember, words are spirits, and we know that there is nothing new under the sun. Let no man deceive you!!! Men will have you chasing fables and old wives tales about walking, talking, humanoid snakes in the Garden of Eden, and such stories that would have us continue in God's strong delusion about Satan, flying, fire breathing dragons, and the such. Adam and Eve thought the words/spirits in their heads came from the snake. But, the words that God sent into Adam and Eve were spirits placed into their heavens (minds). His spirit, the words of obedience, was in their minds, but their minds were full of darkness. They did not have the understanding that we have been given today, so they could do nothing but obey disobedience, which were the words in their minds that opposed the truth. Adam and Eve, and the first words that the Lord sent into their minds were the leven that leavend both the faith that would grow until Christ, and the spirit of error that continues today. This is the history of spirits according to the word of truth!!! Recall that the mind is the kingdom where spirits dwell. This is how our Father rules the kingdom of men, through the words and messages he works in our minds.Dan 4:17 KJV This matter is by the decree of the watchers [...angels/messengers of the words of truth...], and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men [...this physical world through the spiritual world of words, thoughts and intents...] , and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. This physical world, and what men think this physical world to be is ruled by our Father through the spirit of error, Satan, the carnal mind, the flesh--whichever word you want to use, the spirit is the same, God's delusion through words. The words and thoughts of God are understood by physical creation, but only as physical creation is revealed through the scriptures.Rom 1:20 KJV For the invisible things [...words, spirits, the thoughts and intents of the heart..] of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made [...our physical reality as seen through the lens of God's word...], even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:The Lord is using things in physical reality to describe the kingdoms within us. The physical body itself is a parable for the thoughts and intents of the carnal mind, which are bound to it's own lusts and temptations. The spiritual mind is a parable for the spiritual body that we will receive at the resurrection. When Christ resurrected, his body was not bound to the physics of this world. His body "moved and did" according to His thoughts. Not like the physical body, which is bound to this world; and, the carnal mind, which is bound to the physical body. The carnal mind is born dead, it is sown in corruption, dishonor, weakness, it is natural just like the physical body is natural.1Co 15:42-46 KJV 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul [...dying body bound to a carnal mind...]; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit [...life-giving Word, in the beginning was the word...]. 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. If there is no physical body then there is no understanding of what it means to be corrupt, weak and dying. That is how God views the carnal mind and the wisdom of the carnal mind--corrupt, weak and dying. Think about the human body. It gets hungry because it needs food from this world, thirsty because it needs water from this world, sleep because the lights make seasons in this world, and, most importantly, it needs to breath the air of this world. No matter how you put it, man is physically bound to this realm. Just like the body is physically bound to the sum of this realm, so too is the carnal mind bound to the sum of the carnal realm of words within it.Rom 8:7-8 KJV 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.The carnal mind is typified by the physical body, flesh. So the works of the carnal mind, all the error within it, are typified by all the physical, outward evil works of the flesh that mankind manifests.Gal 5:19-21 KJV 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.Unlike the carnal mind, the spiritual mind overcomes the flesh, and is not in bondage to it. That is why Christ was able to be in a physical body and overcome the desires of the carnal thoughts and the pulls of the flesh. He had the fullness of the sum of God's word, the entire truth, overcoming the carnal thoughts and fleshly desires in Jesus' body.2Co 5:21 KJV For he hath made him to be sin [...flesh and blood, carnally minded for a season in the body of Jesus of Nazareth...] for us, who knew no sin [...did not speak or do according to evil/error in his mind...]; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.Joh 1:14 KJV And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. What word was made flesh? God the Father said He was going to make man in his image and likeness. Gen 1:26 KJV And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. That thought of "our image, after our likeness" was the beginning of the revelation of Christ. That is our Father's word that would later manifest as Jesus Christ. Col 1:15 KJV Who [...Christ, the sum of God's word from the beginning...] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:Don't let anyone fool you. Again, anything that is not our Father the Creator is simply a creature, one of his creations, even the invisible creations and the visible creations. The firstborn of every creature includes being the first thought out of the sum of all thoughts in our Father. That is who Christ is, the word that was at the beginning of creation. Rev 3:14 KJV And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;Christs obedience to our Father revealed the fruit of the spirit, which are the thoughts and intents of Gods mind. We walk according to the spirit if we have the knowledge of the abundance of Gods word within us.Gal 5:22-26 KJV 22 But the fruit [...the revelation in thought, word, and deed...] of the Spirit [...The sum of our Father...] is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.Eph 5:8-10 KJV 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. The fruit of the spirit that we are blessed to bear, in and through one another in Christ, is only accomplished because the Lord has opened our understanding to see the true gospel. The body of Christ is only a parable in this world of the unity in mind and spirit with our Father that all mankind will suddenly receive in the fullness of resurrection at the end of this world. We are the downpayment of the collective mind of Christ that will be the one mind in the next world!!!Christ is the resurrection and the life. Joh 11:25 KJV Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:Through the abundance of truth we can, not only, "see" what will be for us all in the life to come, but we can also partake of that life through our fellowship with one another. The carnal mind wants to live forever so it can see and know what the future will be like. Well, we know. Christ is the first fruit of that future. He is the resurrection, which is just another way of saying He is the first to complete the entire process of being created in the image and likeness of the Father. He is the future of all mankind. Again, that truth IS the word of God, the sum of Gods word, the spirit of truth, the gospel of your salvation, however you want to phrase it, it is our comfort. Christ is our comforter in this world.Joh 14:16-18 KJV 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth [...the sum of thy word...]; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless [...hopeless in the world without the knowledge of true life...]: I will come to you. After Christ says that the Father will send another comforter, the spirit of truth, he says that it is him that will not leave us comfortless because He, himself, will come to us. Christ also says that He is going to prepare a place for us and come again and receive us to himself.Joh 14:3 KJV And if I go and prepare a place for you , I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.Brethren, seeing this truth is the second coming of Christ!!! When our minds have been converted from carnal understanding to the spiritual understanding of God's word. Heb 9:28 KJV So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. We have been given life in this realm of death by having the knowledge of the truth. That is the true understanding of resurrection. However, this revelation of truth only comes to those to whom the Lord has given the desire to truly seek it.Jer 29:13 KJV And ye shall seek me [...the second coming, in my word, through my words...], and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.Pro 8:17 KJV I love them that love me; and those that seek me [...my second coming...] early shall find me.Joh 5:39 KJV Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they [...the sum of God's word/The word of truth...] are they which testify of me.The coming of the truth is not an outward event. How many times have we quoted, "the kingdom of god is within you."Luk 17:20-21 KJV 20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you [...in your mind, your thoughts, how you interpret all things in this world in light of the sum of God's word...].Those that are looking for Christ to come down from the sky, whether as one person or as many people, are sadly mistaken. Especially those waiting to judge "angels" and "spirit beings" in the future; not fully grasping that there is no judgment after resurrection. They have not yet been lifted up out of the delusion that our Father has sent into their minds. The second coming of Christ is our second understanding of the scriptures. First is the carnal judgment of words and events, then it's the spiritual judgment of words and events.1Co 15:46 KJV Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The second coming of Christ is "Christ in you, the hope of glory."Col 1:27 KJV To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is [...the second coming of...] Christ [...the Words of truth...] in you [...your mind...], the hope of glory:The kingdom of our Father is not a shrine, or a temple, or a land, or a physical body, or this world. The kingdom of our Father cannot be seen or heard and will not be seen or heard by human eyes at any time, any where. Death separates everyone from the world to come, just like the carnal mind separates us from the spiritual mind. The kingdom of God is within you because the vision/revelation of the world to come can only be imagined in our minds right now, but it must be imaged according to the truth. We must understand this world in light of and in conjunction with the sum of God's word and the spiritual understanding of it. These are the thoughts and intents of the Father. This is the comfort we have while we are in this world, knowing that our Father is in control of the thoughts and intentions of every man, in every place, at every time. ................
