The Tenth Annual Commencement of the \\'oman's lI!edieal College

of 'hicago, was held at the nion Park ongregational hurch, March

2d, 18 o.

Prof. \"m. IT. Byford, President, conferred the degree of M. I), upon

Elizabeth ~lcKiUrick, Amelia Augur Piau,

Jennie M. Dobson, Emma M. Nichols, Mary Lyman Roekwell,

A. M. Davenport, Julia M. Palten,

Eugenia A. ?Watts.

Jennie E. Hayner, Prizes for speeial merit. as evinced on examinations, were award d

to Miss Jennie E. Hayner and Miss A. M. Davenport. Mrs. M. L. Rockwell, Mrs. Amelia A. Phu anrl Miss A. ~1. Daveu-

port, having complied with all the reCluirements as Fllrllily SIII,Ii'III"

were presented with additional certifieates. The lass Valedictory was' delivered by Miss Julia ~1. Pall n, and th ?

Faculty Address by Prof. Danforth. At the close of the exercises, an entertainment was given by Prof.

anel !llrs. Earle, at their residence, to the graduating class, the alumni

of the ollege and their friends. Miss Emma .\1. Nichols, ~1. D., has been appointed lTouse Physician

at the 'Woman's Hospital of the State of Illinois, and ~l iss Jennie E. Hayner, ~1. D., Resident Physician at Chicago Hospital for Women and hildren; ~Iiss Patten accepted the position in the State Hospilal
