We will be live-streaming the Christmas Masses in the church to Facebook, the link will be available on our parish website ? as during the time of shutdown of the church during the earlier months this year, you are not required to have a Facebook account in order to watch using the link. Happy Anniversary Father Dat! We extend our heartiest

congratulations to Father Dat as he celebrates the 18th Anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood!

Why not make an all-out effort to gather family members to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Wednesday 16th December at 7pm. For some it could be a fresh start, for others it may be the boost they need to keep going! It promises to be a beautiful occasion for our community.

VINNIES CHRISTMAS APPEAL ? Support Australian Families at breaking point. Millions of Australian families will be spending this Christmas in poverty. Many of them are facing hardship for the first time and have suddenly found themselves frightened about how they will keep a roof over their head and put food on the table, let alone celebrate on Christmas Day. Vinnies is taking pressure off families who are at breaking point by providing food hampers, emotional support and help with essentials. Donation envelopes are available this weekend. Will you help? Your contribution, big or small will go a long way towards providing some hope to those who are struggling.

Thank you from the Vinnies! On behalf of all our "friends in need", the Yangebup Conference would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Mater Christi Catholic Primary, Hammond Park Catholic Primary and Emmanuel College for their generous donations of food items and hampers! Grateful thanks also go out to each and every one of our parishioners (including all the little ones) for all the beautiful and thoughtful gifts that you have offered.

We applaud your overwhelming kindness. Be assured that your spirit of giving has impacted on a great many families and individuals who now have some Christmas joy and cheer and most importantly, the knowledge that someone cared enough to reach out to them! God Bless you all.

Due to the Mater Christi CPS requiring the additional space next year for classes, unfortunately the Mater Christi Parish Centre (aka the MCCC) is unavailable for hire for the duration of 2021 and possibly into 2022. We will notify the community towards the end of next year when the facility will be available again. Please approach the Parish Office with any queries related to this.

We welcome into our Family of Faith through the SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM

Oliver Jones, son of Mathew & Kellie Sienna Lombardo, daughter of Brett & Daniell

Please pray for the newly baptised, their parents and godparents.

Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB 2020 Christmas Message In his annual Christmas message, Perth Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB reminds Perth Catholics that at the heart of Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Christ. "As long as we remember this and focus on this, Christmas 2020 will be as significant and as joyful as it always is - and perhaps even more so because we might find ourselves less distracted by the superficial things of Christmas and more free to concentrate on the extraordinary love of God for us which Christmas reveals." The Archbishop's Christmas message can be viewed via the Archdiocesan website or via Youtube .
