Our mission is to solve our community’s toughest challenges by connecting people, resources and ideas.Purpose of Position:The Partner Relations Manager is a key member of the Community Impact team with responsibility for strengthening and managing relationships with partner providers working to achieve the United Way vision and mission. The Partner Relationship Manager strives to achieve positive outcomes by leveraging individual and organizational relationships.This is a 100% grant-funded position with an anticipated grant end date of June 30, 2019. Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:Manage the administration, evaluation, and assessment of approximately $7 million per year in United Way investment fundsProvide leadership and guidance to volunteers, Community Impact staff, and UWNEFL staff with regard to partner providers, initiative and programmatic dataAct as champion and staff point person for partner providers, promoting effective use of data for performance improvement and compliance with funding requirementsEnsure accuracy and consistency in reporting provider results on United Way’s Results-Based Accountability FrameworkBuild capacity of partner providers to ensure long-term success and sustainabilityData Collection:The Partner Relationship Manager plays a key strategic role in the Impact team’s ability to collect, analyze, and communicate results from funded, strategic, and initiative partners. Specifically, the Manger will:Build data reports that will allow for accurate programmatic informationEnsure the accurate and timely collection of data from funded and strategic partnersProvide timely and effective training and technical assistance to a variety of internal and external constituentsProvide clear, easily understood outcome analysis to CI Team in order to help assess programmatic and initiative effectivenessServe as key team person for Efforts To Outcomes and E-Cimpact platforms ensuring database development and maintenance, provider and team training, quality assurance (Review/Audit Provider files), ensure that monthly reports are prepared and submitted to funders and host Provider meetings to ensure complianceWork with CI Team members to develop applications and reports in the E-Cimpact platformResource Management Administration:The Partner Relationship Manager plays a key strategic role in the allocation of United Way funds to diverse community partners. The Manager will:Coordinate a community calendar of agency activities; maintain accurate contact information in Stratus Live for funded partners and coordinate all communication with agenciesManage Volunteer Accounting Committee documentsAssist in the development, execution, and maintenance of funding contracts and other required documentsAssist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of key partner meetings and eventsConduct partner site visits to review program goals and outcomesInitiative Support:The Partner Relationship Manager will provide episodic administrative support CI initiatives.Coordinate the preparation of the monthly invoicePrepare Project proposals and process appropriate documentation Organize and participate in meetings to ensure effectiveness, communication, and to identify opportunities for cross-collaboration Assist in the oversight of specific UWNEFL initiatives and strategiesCommunication:The Partner Relationship Manager will ensure appropriate, transparent, and ongoing communication with partner providers and other key UWNEFL constituents in order to ensure the timely delivery of incoming and outgoing information.In collaboration with Marketing/Communications, develop a monthly communication piece to go to partner organizationsEnsure timely receipt of partner stories to help drive content for SPCAssist in the development of regular communication pieces for elected officials and other key stakeholders in order to keep them informed of CI workServe as key staff person for CI data and other information needed throughout organizationExperience / Position Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in related field of learning2-4 years of progressively responsible work experienceMust possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks and follow-up to ensure responsibilities are fulfilledExperience preferred in database systems and management and volunteer development and trainingExperience preferred in planning, policy design, and spreadsheet analysisProficient knowledge of computers and experience utilizing Microsoft Officeapplications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Must have a valid Florida State Driver’s License, access to an automobile and a good driving recordCompetencies:To perform the job successfully, the employee should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:Communication – In partnership with marketing and communications ensure that a robust communication/marketing plan is developed and executed to raise awareness of financial stability issues, successes, and opportunities. Provide leadership in communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Advocacy/Public Policy - Identify and monitor legislation pertaining to issues that impact UWNEFL’s financial stability work; build relationships with key elected officials to help support long term efforts and to position UWNEFL as a subject matter expert and resource.Working with Community Partners – Coordinate research and other activities with initiative partners to minimize redundancies and align strategies and actions, including conducting individual outreach and education as needed. Coordinate with other projects and coalitions in the same field to maintain a full understanding of the current landscape of local and regional activities.
