Safety Rules

1. No shooting before 8:00 AM or after Sunset and only on the days set forth by the club.

2. No illegal firearms or weapons allowed on club grounds

3. Non participants not allowed on firing line or down range.

4. Actions on all firearms must be open until ready to fire.

5. When the trap boy or service personnel are servicing the clay throwing machines you must unload your shotgun, open the action and step away from the shooting positions.

6. Each person using our facilities during off hours is required to sign in on the log-in sheet.

7. Shooting is only allowed from the designated positions on the firing line and only at the target frame directly in front of that position.

8. No fully automatic or bump fire weapons allowed on club grounds.

9. No rapid firing or double tapping allowed, there must be a 5 second delay between shots.

10. No surplus military or other non expanding Full Metal Jacketed rifle ammunition on club grounds. With the exception of 5,56, 223. 7.62x39 and 300 Blackout

11. All firearms must be shot from eye level. “NO TRICK SHOOTING”

12. Handguns with 5.5-inch barrels or shorter are restricted to the 7, 10- and 25-yard berms if they have iron sights.  Scoped or red dot sighted handguns may be shot at 50 yards offhand with a two-hand hold or bench rested.  Scoped handguns may be shot at 100 yards but only from a bench rest.  Only single shot handguns with a minimum of 1600 fps muzzle velocity and a pointed bullet can be shot at the 200-yard berm and you must use a bench rest.

13. You may bring a guest during off hours but if either or both of you plan on shooting you must purchase a Guest Pass ($10) from a club officer. You are only allowed one guest per visit and you cannot bring the same guest repeatedly. If neither of you will be shooting you do not need a pass.

14. Paper targets only and they must be hung in the middle of the backing board.

15. Only shotguns are allowed on the clay shooting fields with target loads loaded with 7.5 shot or smaller.

16. Clay targets only on the clay shooting fields and only thrown from our machines.

17. No one down range unless the down range alarm is turned on and you receive an all clear from other shooters. All firearms must be on the bench, actions open and not handled until the alarm is off.

18. Firearms not allowed down range with the exception of holstered handguns.

19. No shotgun patterning allowed on the rifle range.

20. Your membership card must be displayed in plain sight when using the club grounds in off hours and shown to any member requesting to see it.
