Patterson school-wide results are published on public site: April 4 – May 13 2016 are parcc dates for this year. We need to compare to how our school compares to other schools in district and state. Patterson performed well compared to district and state. The kids that individually fall in “did not meet” or “partially met” are kids we know by name and we have a plan in place. The “performance levels” shows performance by grade. DLM is an alternate assessment for special needs students who do not get the core curriculum. We also look at scores by demographic groups to make sure that there are no significant differences. There are ratings that rate schools, really look at what the ratings are comprised of and please call me with any questions.5 Essentials SurveyThis is on under school report card. Patterson was the highest rated elementary school in Naperville. This survey is about school climate. We get no scores on the student section because no elementary students are allowed to take the survey. It is time again to take this survey, so please take the time to answer the survey again. Your answers will be aggregated; we won’t see any individual answers. This does impact how the general public feels about our school and our neighborhood. Specific suggestions should be sent directly to Mrs. Frost or Mrs. Mitchell but we won’t see specific suggestions if they are submitted via this survey. They are asking that every person do this once, on the honor system, not more than once. We need a 20% response rate from parents to publish the data. Report cards will be live on Friday in home access. We have conferences in February but you do not have to wait until that if you have a question, call at any time.5th graders are preparing for middle school. Band/orchestra selections are occurring.
