More Information:

Support for Printing Website Links

MobilePrint 1.3.1 enables users to print a document simply by emailing a weblink to it. This feature works for all supported document types. For example, sending the following link for printing will succeed because PDF is a supported document type.

On the other hand, emailing the following web link will not be processed for printing because MobilePrint does not support printing HTM/HTML files to keep the environment more secure.

Take note that for this feature to work:

o The hyperlink should be the first line on the email message.

o Only one hyperlink is allowed per email message.

Printing Unsupported Formats

If users print an unsupported format (e.g. XPS), they will receive a reply email showing that the document(s) failed to process because the format is not supported. No link will be shown. If the attachment comes with an email message, the email message will be available for printing provided it meets the minimum number of characters (as set in the MobilePrint Web Administrator). By default, email messages shorter than 200 characters will not be processed and will be discarded.

Web Browsers

Both Pharos MobilePrint Web Release and MobilePrint Web Administrator require web browsers. Pharos MobilePrint has been tested on the following popular web browsers. Due to the number of browsers and how frequently they are updated, it is not possible to test on all of them. Feel free to try other browser versions that may not be listed here.

o Internet Explorer 8.0, 9.0 and 10.0

o Mozilla Firefox 19

o Google Chrome 22

o Apple Safari 5.1.7
