5524500000Job Title: QC Chemist I Department/Division: Quality Control LaboratoryReports to: Quality Control SupervisorGrade: 10 Job Summary:As a Quality Control Chemist, you will participate in performing routine commercial release and stability testing of pharmaceutical products and related materials in accordance with site policies, departmental procedures, compendial methods, and cGMP regulations.Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneDuties/Responsibilities: Perform bench work such as FTIR, HPLC, GC, dissolution, and transdermal physical testing Demonstrate flexibility/agility and follow good laboratory technique meeting QbD standards and all regulatory requirements.Practice GMP documentation standards and peer review of colleague’s notebooksEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in relevant science filed and 2-4 years’ experience in a QC or Analytical Laboratory.Preferred Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, FTIR, and dissolutionHighly motivated and self-driven with ability to work independentlyAbility to multi-task and adhere to aggressive timelines in support of department and company objectives2 to 4 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing quality control laboratory environment, including FDA, cGMP, USP, and other regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical industryExperience with statistical data analysis and QbD principles Experience using chromatographic software (Empower 3 preferred)Ability to think critically and troubleshoot analytical lab instrumentation problems (ex. HPLC)High productivity with low error rate, showing good attention to detailExperience with analytical technical writing, communication and data management skills to present data to internal technical and project teams & potentially to clients.
