Because, philosophy derives from the pursuit of how to achieve a good life. The school is also an extension of the pursuit by developing, teaching and experiencing (Snauwaert, 2012). This document will debate what my educational philosophy is and what the role of technology is best based on three main theories which are behaviorism, cognitivism, and constructivism. The theories have a different characteristic. The key words of the theories are that Behaviorism is performance, assessment and immediate feedback, cognitivism is structure and concept mapping, and constructivism is a discussion or conversation.My philosophy of educationIn my opinion, the important thing about education is good communication. I believe that a good communication between teachers and students, or students each other makes a good result. When I went to a high school, I had terrible communication with a class teacher. She compromised my reputation after consulting with her. This happening brought about bad result to me, I couldn’t focus on the classes and then my grade was totally dropped. I always study alone, because it is effective without any trouble with others. However, when I did a group discussion on university, it made a better result. At that time, finally, I realized communication affects education. In fact, the result of Gillies’ study (2011) pointed that the students made abundant opinions to solve a problem. Therefore, my philosophy of education is providing an environment which can develop conversation each other easily. The most important theory In my philosophy, the appropriate theory is Constructivism. According to the definition of constructivism, “learners bring their personal experiences into the classroom” (Schulte, 1996, p. 25). At that time, students had started to learn through other’s personal experiences “with a variety of knowledge, feelings and skills” (Schulte, 1996, p. 25). Indubitably, to share communication, students have to make conversation. However, constructivism is not a new theory in the field of education such as most other theories. That theory derived from a question of cognitive theorists (Ertmer & Newby, 2013). That means, the theories are close. Simply, they have a different focusing point that is constructivism is communication and cognitivism is structure. In fact, behaviorism is also close to them. Garner (2016), and Maurer and Kropp (2015) figured out immediate feedback produce better educational results through some experiments, and Garner (2016) suggested immediate feedback can help to improve the relationship between students and instructors. In other words, improving the relationship makes better communication. Therefore, there is no most important theory, merely, I prefer to focus on the main point of constructivism rather then other two theories. The rule of technology in my future I hope that I develop e-Learning in the future and I expect that I can adopt all of three theories in my job. For instance, Wang’s study (2014) figured out that immediately feedback oneself by “web-based assessment system” after taking a test at the e-Learning courses helped to improve their achivement (p. 190). The study was based on behaviorism. That means, by making objective clearly learners could get a better result. In addition, I would put a bulletin board in the e-Learning to communicate each other about studying of the e-Learning class. I will help to get a better achievement. Because, Wang (2014) conducted that the effects of adopting annotation from other learners and it also affected to get a better result. Therefore, changing adopting annotation into conversation more often should be more effective. Finally, I will design that the learners can access the class by adopting various multimedia to build a structure for studying effectively by the utilization the best advantage of the e-Learning system. ConclusionAs mentioned in the introduction, the main theories seem definitely to be different each other. However, the theories are extremely closely linked together. Therefore, I cannot choose only one theory in my work and I will combine them properly. I hope that students learn in the environment which can make their opinion comfortably and easily, and feel the study as an activity for fun by using their experience, creative thinking, and communication with teachers or other students.
