What should you be updating on the website?
Your Team Page.
Why do you need to update it?
To communicate and share information with your team’s parents & players – important stuff like announcements as well as fun stuff like pictures.
Who should update it?
Ideally the Team Manager. But Coaches can also update it.
What team information should be updated?
● Announcements & bulletins – anything your team needs to know like changes to the schedule, field changes, team parties, team picture information, etc.
● Practice Schedule Information
● Game & practice pictures (e.g.: photos taken by parents)
● Note: Game Results, Reschedules, and Playoff Information will be updated by the League Commissioners. You don’t have to worry about this.
How do you update the information on your team page?
First, you need to sign in with your name and team password. Each team has a unique password. And each team can only update their own information.
- Go to
- Click on the “Admin” tab at upper-right of the page. This is where you will log in by entering your name and password. You won’t be able to update anything until you do this.
- You will see a box entitled “Restricted Area”:

- Type your name (first name and last name) in the “Your Full Name” box.
- Type your password in the “Password” box. This is the unique password that has been assigned to your team.
- The “Team Manager’s Manual” is displayed. This document explains in detail how to add, edit, or update the information on your team page. Feel free to read through this document if you need more information.
- Click on the “Grade & Team Info” tab at the top of the page. Your Team Home Page should be displayed.

- If it’s not, then:
● For “Season” select “2007 Football Season”.
● For “Grade” select your grade (e.g.: “5th Grade”)
● For “Team” select your team (e.g.: “5th Black”)
Add or Edit a team bulletin
● Make sure you are signed in using the team password (see above)
● Make sure you are on your Team’s Home Page. You should see a screen like this one:

● Click on “Add New Bulletin” if you need to create a new message or bulletin for your team. Is there a change to an upcoming practice? Is there an upcoming parent meeting? Do you need to remind your players to bring water bottles? Is there a team party? etc, etc.
● You will see a screen like this one:

● New messages will be added to the Team’s Home Page. If you need to edit an existing message you can just click on the Edit button next to the message and the edit box will be displayed allowing you to change whatever you need to change.
● If the “Email Broadcast” checkbox (towards the bottom of the screen) is checked prior to you clicking the “Submit” button (whether creating a new bulletin or editing an existing one), your new or updated message will be automatically e-mailed to all the parents and/or players on your team.

Post your team’s practice schedule & other team events
● Make sure you are signed in using the team password (see above)
● Click on the “Admin” tab at the top of the page.
● Click on the “General Event” button on the left hand side.
● Enter the information for your event.
● Click “Submit” to add your event.
● The event will now be included on the Team’s Event Schedule and on the Team’s Calendar.

Upload pictures from your team’s games, practices, etc.
● Make sure you are signed in using the team password (see above)
● Pictures can be added individually or as part of a picture album. We recommend using picture albums. It’s a little more work but it will be easier to manage.
● Create a new Picture Album:
● Click on the “Admin” tab at the top of the page.
● Click on the “Picture Album” button on the left hand side. You should see a screen like this one:

● Enter the “Name” for the picture album (e.g.: “1st Game of the Season”, “Team Party”, “Pictures from Practices”, “Game Pictures”, etc).
● Select your team. If you don’t select your team then the picture album may not be created for your team. It might be created somewhere else, like at the Association level.
● Click “Submit”. The picture album will be created and a new button called “Pictures” will be added to your team page.
● A new page like this one will be displayed:

● This page allows you to upload photos to the photo album. If you have digital photos that are ready to be uploaded then you can do this now. Otherwise you can leave the photo album empty for now.
● To upload photos:
● Go to your Team Page.
● If at least one picture album has been created then there will be a “Pictures” button on the left hand side. Click on it.
● (If no picture albums have been created or if no pictures have been added yet then you will not see a “Pictures” button on the left hand side. In this case, follow the instructions above to “Create a new Picture Album”. After you create the Picture Album you’ll be able to upload the pictures.)
● After you click on the “Pictures” button on the left hand side, you will get a page that contains all the picture albums and all the photos that have been added to your Team Page. It should look like this:

● Click on:
o The Picture Album you would like to add your pictures to.
o Or … “Add a new Album” to create a new picture album.
o Or … “Add Pictures” to add pictures without adding them to an album (we don’t recommend this).
● Once you have opened an existing Picture Album or created a new one, click on the button “Add Pictures”. You should see a screen like this:

● Follow the instructions on the screen to upload your pictures one by one (or up to 10 at a time). The “Description” field is optional.
● Note: If one of your parents is a “photographer” then consider delegating this “job” to them. You just need to give them the team password and these instructions.
