Mrs Murphy – Week beginning 30th March 2020Hello everybody! I hope you are all well and enjoying this time at home. I am missing you all. Please choose activities from the list below; you do not have to get everything done. The main things to focus on are your reading, tables and some writing. Enjoy! 1st Class - Literacy Spellings – Learn week 26 – What sound is common in each word? Highlight it. Do you understand the meaning of each word? Do a spelling test at the end of the week. Reading – continue on as per your reading record, read the next four pages. Identify any words you are finding tricky and make a list of them. Aim to know these words by the end of the week. Make flashcards. Play Splat with the fly swatter or shoot the words with your Nerf Gun!!!If you need more reading material, choose some books from home and read them or visit the following website where you can access more eBooks to read. oxfordowl.co.uk or complete some fun activities on Kahoot! – Tricky Words - Download the app or play it on a computer. First we did some school work. I played Kahoot.After that we went on a long walk. I took some pictures of signs of spring. I saw some lovely yellow daffodils. When we got home we played Tip the can. It was fun. Finally, we went inside to watch a movie. We got some popcorn as a treat. It was delicious. I am really enjoying spending time with my family but I am missing all the boys and girls in school too.
