Reporting into the Head of Internationalisation, they will also work closely with the International Recruitment Managers, Academic Schools and with the Quality and Standards Team to ensure effective and efficient assessment of new opportunities arising, appropriate due diligence and curriculum mapping (where appropriate) and subsequent submission of agreements for approval through dedicated university channels. The post holder will also have responsibility for contract management for the University’s growing network of recruitment representatives and feeder colleges including the University of Brighton International College run by Kaplan and a growing list of other feeder college relationships. Externally they will liaise with prospective and current partners and representatives in relation to the duties of the role.Main areas of responsibility:Partnership development To project manage the development of new international partnership initiatives, working closely with the relevant International Recruitment Manager, Quality and Standards Team, academic leads and the partner. To monitor the partnership development process, guiding internal colleagues and the partner through all stages, ensuring that partnerships are developed in a timely manner and managed in line with University policy.Working closely with International Recruitment Managers and relevant third parties to quickly identify and assess new opportunities, progressing those deemed viable through appropriate channels.To develop, with support from International Recruitment Managers, an understanding of partnership opportunities that align with target market characteristics. To maintain a database giving an overview of partnerships at all stages of development from identification through to approval and implementation. To ensure regular communication with international partners to ensure the stated objectives for the partnership are met and provide constant attention to the progress against those objectives.To collaborate with International Recruitment Managers and UK and overseas-based recruitment teams, to organize recruitment activities, monitoring and reporting performance, troubleshooting and other aspects of relationship management. To work with marketing colleagues to develop a communications plan for the international partner channel to ensure collateral is tailored to our partners and communicated through a variety of platforms, including CRM, web, social media and printed collateral as appropriate.Contract Management To provide detailed performance data and analysis to the Head of Internationalisation on current international partnerships. The post holder will provide reports outlining the performance of these partnerships, presenting data on issues including recruitment, progression and other relationship management elements and suggesting actions where necessary. To maintain oversight of progression agreements, monitoring and updating relevant agreements and notifying stakeholders in response to changes in the University course portfolio including periodic addition and cessation of degree courses.To support International Recruitment Managers with the development of international contracts adapting contracts as required to meet the needs of each partner or representative.
