The Florida Department of Health in Gulf County is offering FREE swim lessons to the first 3o who register. About our Program

All lessons are taught by an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and follow the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim guidelines. The sessions offered are all designed to give students a posi"ve learning experience as they are introduced to the water and learn basic personal water safety informa"on and skills. In this beginner level, elementary aqua"c skills are taught, with students focusing on development of posi"ve a'tudes, good swimming habits and safe prac"ces in and around the water.

All par"cipants must be ages 5-15 with very li*le to no swim experience.

Each swim class will last about 40 minutes. Registra"on packets are available at the Florida Department

of Health in Gulf County or at the first class of each session.
