Three of the men trapped in the courthouse Danaher, Brennan and Buckley died, and Jack Farrell was severely burned but managed to escape he went into hiding and recovered. A plaque has been erected on the wall of the reconstructed courthouse in memory of the three who died. The plaque was unveiled by the west Limerick old I.R.A. Association. ................
