CALL TO WORSHIP Mrs. Lyndsay Britt

As we gather in this sacred moment for a sacred purpose,

let us make the most of our time together.

We have come to worship the Lord our God.

As we sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,

let us make the most of our time together.

We have come to worship the Lord our God.

As we respond to the melody in our hearts,

let us make the most of our time together.

We have come to worship the Lord our God.

ANTHEM OF ASSURANCE Jesus Is the Song David Danner

The Sanctuary Choir

My Savior is the Lord and King; He has control of everything.

He loves me, and He bids me sing; He gives His song to me.

Refrain: Jesus is the song of life, Jesus is the song of joy.

Jesus is the song of love; Jesus gives His song to me.

He calms my hurts and dries my tears, He gives me strength to face my fears.

He sends His grace through all my years; He gives His song to me.

My Savior, Jesus, I’ll adore, my weary soul He will restore.

I’ll sing His praise forevermore, He’ll give His song to me.

ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS Psalm 28:6-7 Rev. Thompson

Praise be to the Lord, for He has heard our cries for mercy.

The Lord is our strength and our shield;

our hearts trust in Him, and He helps us.

Our hearts leap for joy, and with our songs we praise Him.

A response may take the shape of a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and desire to be baptized, a request for church membership, or the sharing of a prayer concern or praise which may be communicated with the congregation or safely kept between the sharer and minister. Please respond as you feel led during the Hymn of Response.
