Buddy Parker writes, “My mother and I are requesting prayers on behalf of the wonderful CrossBridge family, as she is having some severe health problems and I have to make some decisions regarding her current status in the coming days and perhaps weeks. If anyone wishes to inquire further, please write me at masterofspeech@ and please no public contact, i.e., Face Book - thank you for a most loving, wonderful and prayer family I have at CrossBridge. God bless you all.”

Sue and Duane Sabens write, “We ask for continued and persistent prayers for our grandson Michael. He is not doing well at all right now. He has never wanted to eat but now he doesn’t want to take his bottle and when they do get something down he has been throwing it back up. They took him to the doctor today but they still have no idea what is wrong. To all who pray for him, God bless you and we love you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Darla Osborne writes, “Can you please add to CrossBridge's long list of prayers, Conrad Hathcoat? He was caught up in the storm waters of the Gulf a couple of days ago with a friend, his friend was rescued. He is still missing... the search and rescue has suspended the search. This is an unimaginable thing for the parents, relatives and friends to be going through. Seeing the faith that folks have is so encouraging and just knowing that so many are praying is comforting. Also, please include my father who is waiting on test results for bladder and kidney tumors.” Please lift these requests up to the Lord.

Randy Greene writes, “Just wanted to update you guys on Mom.  She went home Monday from the hospital.  She will go back to oncologist in two weeks for consultation on treatment for her brain and lung cancer.  Thanks for the prayers.”

Tonya Jones writes, “Will you please add my brother, Brian, and his wife, Selena, to the prayer request list at church? They are a precious Christian family with 3 girls, and they need our prayers as they have recently been given temporary custody of their 2 sweet little nieces as well, and are awaiting to be given permanent custody. This is a very difficult situation for various reasons and my brother and his family needs your prayers. I ask that you please pray for the safety and protection of those little girls, and my brother and his wife. Also, that they would rely on God to help them provide for those girls in every way they need to be taken care of, and the strength, faith, wisdom, love, patience, and courage to be able to be the kind of caretakers that the girls need so desperately, and to help them overcome the darts of the enemy during this whole lengthy process. I know God will hear our prayers and deliver! Thank you in advance for praying with me for someone who is so dear to me.”

April Lawrence writes, “My neighbor, Lauren Nickles, is very sick. She is 30 yrs. old, gave birth to a healthy baby boy in May and has a 2 year old little girl. She recently started having stomach problems and has been hospitalized twice.  Her doctors performed surgery to find out what is actually wrong. They removed a large grapefruit sized tumor, her left ovary, and part of her small intestine. They also found small cell carcinoma cancer cells and are unable to determine the origin. Please pray that this is curable. Pray for her body to be completely healed. The power of prayer is real and it is mighty. Please pray without ceasing for our Lauren.”
