Specifically, the position will coordinate the development and implementation of the communications components of the key State Environmental Contribution Levy 4 funded projects including: Our Catchments Our Communities Perry Project, Sustainable Irrigation Program, Flagship Waterways, Headwaters Willow Control Project and Corner Inlet Connections and the key National Landcare Program funded projects including; Gippsland Plains, Indigenous Partnerships, Sustainable Agriculture and Regional Landcare Facilitator. Coordinate the development and implementation of the Annual Project Communications Plan to strategically link to the broader WGCMA’s communication efforts.Supporting WGCMA staff in the delivery of project communication and engagement events/activities and associated media.Improve internal project based communication efficiencies through a review and updating of current project based communication processes, including the training of relevant WGCMA staff.Review and update project webpages on the WGCMA website and MERIT reportingAssist in the broader WGCMA communication-related activities Ensure communications activities are kept up to date in WGCMA communications and marketing schedulesAssis in the updating and maintaining the WGCMA website.Assist in the development of key WGCMA documents ie, Annual Report, CMA Annual Project Achievements brochureContinually identify new communication and marketing opportunities.Assist in the coordination of the Community Engagement FrameworkProvide Executive Support to the WGCMA Community Advisory Groups.Coordinate the WGCMA Community Advisory Group renewal process, including, communications, promotion and recruitment.Project management, reporting and budgetingMonitor and report on the progress of the project communications to Team Leaders and Unit Managers Coordinate special projects that arise as part of the WGCMA’s communications and engagement responsibilities.Provide project advice and support to WGCMA staff in the development and implementation of communication plans for WGCMA delivered projects. The successful applicant will be engaged pursuant to the current WGCMA Enterprise Bargaining Agreement Superannuation contributions will be made by WGCMA on the employee’s behalf in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation. A three month probationary period applies to this position2. LocationThe role will be located in the WGCMA offices in either Traralgon or Leongatha. Travel between the two locations will be required. 3.
