ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to collect data from the production employees at XYZ Manufacturing Company, on employee engagement. Production employees were asked to fill out a Q-12 survey developed by the Gallup organization to measure employee engagement (Buckingham and Coffinan, 1999). This data was collected and analyzed in order to show the level of employee engagement within the production employees of XYZ Manufacturing Company.
XYZ Manufacturing Company is a suspension manufacture company. There are 239 production employees in assembly manufacturing. A total of 169 surveys were returned which is a 70.2% return rate.
The survey sample of the production employees was chosen because these are the employees that have the greatest influence on the production, quality, and changes in the current systems.
