Raytheon Missile & Defense Freight Routing Guide - US Domestic

These instructions apply to ALL US domestic shipments where Raytheon pays freight

Rules and Requirements:

? Authorized:

o Small Parcel shipment weight (Gross or Dimensional / Greater of the two) - MUST not weigh over 50 lbs. o Surface/Ground Routing is normally more economical and the preferred method of shipping. o Air/Expedited routing - MUST be authorized by Procurement POC or PO - PRIOR toshipment o Shipping Collect or third party via RMD Logistics approved primary carriers o Consolidate multiple items shipped to the same destination on one bill of lading

? NOT Authorized:

o Prepaid and Cash on Delivery shipments o Insured or Declared Value is not authorized o Use of unapproved transportation may result in having to pay freight charges

? Purchase Order Number or Repair Order Number - MUST be annotated on ALL carrier labels & paperwork o Includes Drop Shipment and 3rd Party transactions

Weight and Size Guidelines Dimensional weight must be considered for air carriers. Any piece exceeding 121 inches should be considered for surface shipment.

Dimensional Weight Formula: (L x W x H) / 139 for FedEx, (L x W x H) / 165 for UPS Supply Chain Solutions

*Specialized Shipments Include, and must be set up by the RMD Traffic Team*: ? Over-dimensional (riggers required, etc.) ? Single shipment over 10,000 lbs. ? Special Equip: flatbed, temp controlled, logistics van ? Hazard Class 1.1, 1.2, or 1.3 explosives ? Classified or COMSEC ? Hardware Value Exceeds $10M
