Norwood High School Recommended List of School Supplies

It is strongly suggested that students only buy a few items prior to the first day of school. Each teacher will have specific supplies that students will need to purchase and that list will be explained to students during the first week of school. Here are a few items students can bring to ensure they are prepared for day 1:

Three 1-subject notebooks Binders (recommend waiting to find out on first day what size binder is

needed) Binder dividers A few 2-pocket folders Easy-to-carry pencil/pen case Pens (including a red pen) Pencils A couple different colored highlighters Typical calculator (or scientific calculator ? used more as juniors & seniors) Homework Agenda/Planner (PTO has provided free agendas in the past) Zip drive or USB drive to save work on home/school computers Combination lock for gym locker

** Students can carry their backpacks to classes with them; however, we strongly encourage students to utilize their lockers so that their bags aren't too heavy. There is 4 minutes allotted for passing time in between classes so it is suggested that students map out what classes are more convenient to drop off/pick up supplies at their locker. Students have additional time to do this before lunch.
