IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: MASTER’S DEGREE IN THE BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES, TWO YEARS POST MASTER’S RELEVANT CLINICAL EXPERIENCE AND APPROPRIATE ALABAMA PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE. EXPERIENCE IN COORDINATION OF A CLINICAL PROGRAM. A DRIVER’S LICENSE VALID IN THE STATE OF ALABAMA, MAINTENANCE OF A GOOD DRIVING RECORD, AND PERSONAL AUTOMOBILE LIABILTY COVERAGE ($20,000- $40,000).

V. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:

A. Administrative and clinical supervisor of Justice Involved Programs and personnel.

1. Provide clinical orientation training and ongoing training to all employees in accordance with Central Alabama Wellness Policies and Procedures and DMH standards.

2. Monitor and assure that programs are operating according to the clinical standards as established by CAW, Medicaid and DMH.

3. Monitor and assure that programs are operating within established budgets.

4. Participate in Clinical Records Review and maintains client clinical records according to CAW, Medicaid and DMH standards.

5. Assume responsibility for the storage and protection of client records; maintaining records in a locked cabinet and locked room when not being utilized by staff.

6. Assures services are documented and submitted in a timely manner and in accordance with CAW, Medicaid and DMH standards.

7. Provides consultation regarding referrals Justice Involved Programs.

8. Provides direct services to clients and their families.

9. Responds to emergencies as needed.

10. Monitor monthly productivity for personnel.

11. Review travel/expense vouchers and Log of Hours.

12. Preside over and submit documentation of staff meetings.

13. Provide required DMH supervision for program personnel.

14. Complete and submit annual performance evaluations for each employee.

B. Maintains and provides liaison and education for the Center, other community agencies and the general public.

1. Presents information is an effective and professional manner.

2. Gives presentations which are accurately targeted toward the audience.

3. Provides at least two community presentations per year regarding CAW Justice Involved Services.

C. Maintains and improves professional skills.

1. Attends and actively participates in professional workshops, Relias Learning training and in-service training.

2. Reads current professional literature pertaining to justice involved services.

3. Research and implement evidenced based practices in justice involved programs to assure best practices and clinically appropriate services.

4. Effectively utilizes people on staff for consultation.

D. Completes other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

1. Will execute these duties and responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner.

2. These duties will be treated with the same importance in relation to confidentiality and priority as other duties and responsibilities.
