Job DescriptionJob title: DSE Genset Sales Manager Holidays:25 days / year + statutoryPension:5% contributoryDepartment: Sales & MarketingReports to: Sales and Marketing DirectorHours per week: 38Hours of Work: 0830 – 1700 Mon-Thurs 0830 – 1500 FriDuration:Permanent Full Time PostJob SummaryResponsible for creating and delivering the sales and marketing strategy for the Company’s global market in DSE Genset, DSE Ats and DSE Power.To have a fundamental role in developing future growth, and provide vision, direction and leadership to enhance the position of the Company as a market leader.Main Functions & DutiesDeveloping strategy, sales & marketing planning, market and profit targets.Increasing market share in existing markets and maximise new business development opportunities.Lead, manage, coach and mentor internal sales, business development managers and technical support engineers.Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target areas.Identifying new markets and new sales channelsDirect marketing and PR support activities.Provide proactive leadership and direction for the global sales, marketing and customer support teams, ensuring they achieve and exceed their objectives and targets Management of international agents and distributors.Create and manage sales & marketing budgets.Prepare sales and revenue forecasts.Monitor competitor’s products, services and prices.Attend exhibitions and trade fairs to promote DSE products and services.Lead negotiations with customers and external agents, cultivating long-term customer relationships.Contribute to the company’s product road plete management of the product portfolio, including both new product introduction and obsolescence.Monthly and yearly management reporting.Develop a reputation as being one of the most knowledgeable individuals in the industry. Critical Success FactorsSuccess in this role will be judged by the following key performance indicatorsAchieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.Enhancement and motivation of the sales and marketing team.Ability to diversify into new markets.Contribute to the success of other departments.Drive the company product development team to produce industry leading products.Ensure that the DSE brand remains acknowledged as the number one in the industry.Working ConditionsThe role is based at our offices in Hunmanby.
