About ReadyTalk for Salesforce

Pre-requisites before Installation

1. If you are installing the ReadyTalk for Salesforce application, ensure that you are a System Administrator for your Salesforce org.

2. One or more of the users in your Salesforce org should have a ReadyTalk account. 3. Download of the Salesforce Installer App requires Java. This usually requires admin installation

privileges. If you are not enabled as an admin for your computer, you will require IT assistance. 4. The download and install of the application must be done from a Windows computer. Once the

application has been installed, individuals can utilize the application on a Windows, Mac, or Linux machine.

Features

With ReadyTalk's Salesforce Integration, you can sync your meeting data directly into your Salesforce instance, making it easy for your sales or marketing teams to determine who attended a meeting and reach out to those individuals for follow-up.

The integration will sync over meeting details, registration information, attendance data, and recording information. Data is made available on Contact and Lead pages so your Sales team can easily gather registration and attendance data about a specific user. Information can also be viewed as a whole directly from Salesforce so your Marketing team can collect data about the success of a specific meeting.

The following data will import into Salesforce: ? Meeting Details (Title, Date/Time, Duration, etc.) ? Registration Details o Up to 20 Basic Registration Questions/Answers per person (Name, Email, Address, etc.) o Up to 5 Custom Registration Questions/Answers per person ? Attendance Information (Name, Entry/Exit Time, Duration Attended, etc.) o Up to 6 Live-Meeting Polling Questions/Answers per person o Up to 10 Live-Meeting Chats/Responses per person o Up to 6 Post-Meeting Survey Questions/Answers per person ? Recording Details (Title, Date/Time, Duration, etc.) ? Recording Registration Details (Name, Playback Date/Time, Playback Duration, etc.)

ReadyTalk Element Connect Setup

What is ReadyTalk Element Connect?

ReadyTalk Element Connect is the platform used to push and sync data between ReadyTalk and Salesforce. The steps below are a one-time setup to allow communication between platforms.

Note: If you have a ReadyTalk Element Connect account setup already for another ReadyTalk integration (e.g. Marketo, Act-On, etc., simply sign into your existing Element Connect account and begin at step 4 below.

1. Navigate to and click on Sign Up Here. 2. Enter your Name and Email, enter a unique Password, and then click Create My Account. 3. Click on the ReadyTalk box that

appears below the Select a Service section and enter your ReadyTalk Conferencing Credentials.

? In the first field, enter your Conferencing Phone Number, followed by a colon, followed by your Conferencing Access Code (e.g. 8667401260:1234567).

? In the second field, enter your Conferencing Passcode and then click Connect.

4. Below the Connect to Your Account at section, click on the Salesforce box.

5. Within the Endpoint Address field, type in and then click Connect.

6. Sign into your Salesforce account and then click Allow. 7. Back on the Element Connect home page, click on the

ReadyTalk box again and then click on the Salesforce box. A Formula Template page will appear. 8. Below the Select a Formula Template section, click on the image of the ReadyTalk to Salesforce Workflow. 9. Choose how often you would like the integration to sync.

Note: We suggest you choose the Once a Day or Twice a Day options to ensure you do not hit your Salesforce API Request Limits.

10. Choose whether you would like leads to be created in Salesforce or not and then click Create.

Note: You can always modify these choices at any time by logging back into your account, clicking on the ReadyTalk box, clicking on the Salesforce box, hovering your mouse over the image of the workflow, clicking the image of the trash can, and then following steps 3-8 above.

Your Element Connect set up is now complete. Follow the steps below to install/setup the integration within your Salesforce instance.

Important Note: This integration will pull meeting information for meetings up to 72 hours in the past. If your meeting is older than 72 hours in the past, you will not be able to sync that data with Salesforce.

Downloading & Installing

Important Notes: ? The download and installation process for this application is currently only supported via Windows. We do not

currently support this step on a Mac. Once the app has been installed within your Salesforce instance, it can be used on any machine (e.g. Windows, Mac, and Linux). ? You must be a Salesforce Administrator in order to install this application. If you are not the Administrator for your organization, please contact that individual to assist you with this installation. ? To install the application, you must have Java on your computer. As a result, depending on the restrictions your IT department has implemented on your computer, you may need someone from your IT department to help you with the initial installation.

1. Download the ReadyTalk for Salesforce Installer App. Keep track of where you download this application on your computer. In most cases, it will be added to your Downloads folder.

2. Navigate to the Downloads folder on your computer (Or the folder you saved the file to). 3. Double-click on the readytalk-sfdc-installer-1.1.jar file

and wait for the ReadyTalk Salesforce Integration Installer window to open. 4. Within the installer window, enter your Salesforce Username, Salesforce Password, and your Salesforce Security Token. Enter into the Login URL field and then click Install. 5. It will take several minutes to install the application within your Salesforce Instance. You will see Windows's Spinning Wheel while the install is in progress. 6. When the installation completes, you will see a "Completed Successfully" message appear near the bottom of the app.
