DCPS Health Education successfully trained nearly 100 middle school and high school teachers in HIV/STD prevention which includes curriculum to be taught to all middle and high school students enrolled in Health Education and HOPE.

Health Services Committee Met 1/17/19 at 11:00am Working to update the Health Services manual and specific forms within the manual. Next meeting March 20 at 11:00am at The Players Center. Goal is to have the Health Services Manual completed by May.

Health Education Committee Met 1/14/19 at 9:00am Updated the Approved Speakers List and have posted it online for teachers to view and utilize Will meet March 20 and May 20 at 9:00am, School Board Building room 307 Reviewing several applications currently, needing more information from these organizations Working to get the Speaker application to an online system.

Behavioral and Mental Health Committee Will meet 1/22/19

None DOH will present to SHAC in May
