The students have been learning about themselves and their families in order to better understand who they are. Kindergarten and first grade have been working really hard on completing a book about using your imagination as well as diving in to a totem poles unit. 2nd grade has been doing a lot of research on learning about their family tree as well as understanding how water color crayons work to help make their projects colorful. 3rd grade has been learning about the ancient Egyptian language called Hieroglyphs to help them create their own personal Stele which tells their personal story. The students have been practicing using modelling clay as well as Model Magic to help create these beautiful pieces. 4th grade has been learning about kindness and how we can create public art that inspires others. The rock mandala project is in full swing and the artwork is looking amazing so far. The community will be proud of the work these students have done. 5th grade has been putting their interior designing skills to work on the creation and completion of a design space for a specific person who works in the "Arts". Technology has been a big help throughout the whole project as the students continue to amaze us with their creativity and teamwork. A few more weeks until the students get their well deserved break, but until then, we cannot wait to show you what we have in store. Our second unit will be looking at Perspective and understanding art work, emotions, and ideas from a different viewpoint.?00Triple E Arts & HumanitiesOur final unit on Representation is quickly wrapping up.
