SUMMARY: Distinguished career as a US Navy SEAL operating in the western pacific theater in three operational fourteen man platoons serving as the primary weapons and demolitions representative. I was recruited in 1986 to join a classified small operational team known as “Red Cell”.

CAREER HISTORY:

SOC-SMG (Special Ops Consulting/Sec Mgmt Group), Iraq Jan 2006 to Present

Site Security Manager

• Conducted vulnerability assessments for both ASP 8 (Numaniyah. Iraq) and ASP 2 (Badush, Iraq).

• Wrote and implemented complete security plans for each site.

• Implemented all force protection measures for both sites in accordance with the nature of each site being virtually isolated from close proximity friendly forces.

• Managed day to day security operations in conjunction with ACOE(prime contractor), Tetra Tech(immediate contractor), and Parsons(logistics).

• Established and implemented a complete training regime in accordance with SOC standards of operations concerning all aspects of security related issues concerning isolated, self supportive locations.

• Worked closely with the Iraqi Security Force contingent in the implementation of their personnel into our security plan to achieve maximum effective interaction and coordination.

• Served as the convoy commander for all PSD/logistical convoy missions necessary to support the client.

Baghdad Operations Chief

• Managed day to day operations of all administrative duties.

• Provided logistical support for the SOC security element for four sites.

• Attended intelligence briefs conducted by the PSCAI as well as tasked with developing leads for new business.

• Managed a team of six ex-pats, four TCNs (Third Country Nationals) and an 8 LN guard force.

Ministry of Electricity, Iraq January 2005 to April 2005

Security Project Manager for a major 500 MW Construction Site

• Recruited for security project manager.

• Recruited, screened, and hired new security agents from Amman while Steele Foundation was demobilizing from construction site in Iraq.

• Rewrote and implemented new comprehensive security plan.

• Evaluated and implemented enhanced force protection measures intrinsic to the VA and specificities of the site.

• Responsible for all administrative security duties such as payroll, contracts, data sheets, and other admin items necessary to implement and deploy a new security team.

• Instituted a comprehensive training program designed to inhibit the unique problems of being situated in a high profile and extremely volatile region in Iraq.

• Interfaced with neighboring U.S. Army contingent to establish guidelines for evacuation plan using their base as our primary destination and to establish communications for intelligence exchange.

• Managed day to day operations of the security team and set up a professionally formatted reporting system for the construction project manager.

• Responsible for procuring “International Zone” badges for the security agents and engineers. Researched and attained the necessary credentials to be legally operating in country.

• Initiated SOP’s for the hard/soft motorcade movements and set training schedules for my team.

Executive Protection

• Employed as a security detail specialist.

• Primary client were members of the Royal Saudi Family.

U.S. Navy: Red Cell, Herndon, Virginia 1986-1990

• Tasked with communications and weapons responsibilities.

• Covertly trained as a readily deployable hostage rescue team anywhere in the world, while overtly serving as a security team. The structure was primarily to simulate a terrorist cell.

• Conduct pre-planned structured security exercises against the base security forces to show inherent vulnerabilities and create an AAR to help strengthen their weaknesses.

U.S. Navy: SEAL Team Five, Coronado, California 1983-1986

Weapons / Ordinance Representative

• Assigned to Delta Platoon for three deployments.

• Duties included: weapons/ordinance maintenance, long/short range land navigation, intelligence gathering, demolition raids, and other SEAL specific operations.

• Conducted specialized training and instruction in HRT ( Hostage Rescue Training ), CQB (Close Quarter Combat ), and VBSS (Visual Board Search Seizure ).

• Participated in combat diving operations destroying shipping/naval vessels as well as ship boarding techniques.

• Tasked with training various specialized units in various small unit tactics.
