Constant Contact for the week of Feb

Midweek Lenten Worship Services Have Been Cancelled

Due to current federal, state and church recommendations all midweek Lenten services have been canceled.

Sunday Morning Worship Services Will Now Be on the Radio

In Coordination with St. John Lutheran Church in Dickinson, both St. John’s of Richardton and Peace Lutheran Churches will be able to participate in Sunday morning worship via the radio broadcast on KDIX at 10:30 am. The ELCA pastors from St. John’s, Killdeer (Dunn County Parish), New England and Pastor Mike will conduct the services along with the St. John’s musicians. You can worship with us by tuning into KDIX 1230 AM or 910 FM at 10:30 am every Sunday morning until we are able to gather together in our buildings again.

There will also be a live YouTube video to accompany the radio broadcast. A bulletin for the service will be posted on Peace Lutheran’s website each week or you can go to St. John’s website to see the bulletin with this link .

Along with collective worship services these same pastors (along with Pastor Mary Wiggins of Scranton) will be providing a daily devotional message called Devotions from the Badlands posted on Facebook Mondays through Saturdays. Each day you will be connected to the Holy presence of God who remains with us during this challenging and changing time.

It’s also our hope that during this time of crisis, you will continue to gather for worship on Sunday mornings around your kitchen table or in your living room. Once gathered, light a candle, tune into the radio (and/or other steaming devise) and we will collectively worship our God who transcends time and space!

Worship Offerings

The ministry of the church will continue even though we are not meeting in the building. The expenses of the church will also continue. Your worship offering will still be received and is very much needed, but it will have to be collected electronically or through the mail.

There are several ways you can do this:

1. You can send your offering to the church through the mail to the church’s address: 1550 21st St W, Dickinson, ND 58601.

2. You can take your offering to Choice Bank in the Cash Wise Foods parking lot and give it to the drive through teller or put it in the night drop box (now open 24 hours). They will then deposit your check into the church’s account at the bank. (Make sure the check is made to Peace Lutheran Church. If offering cash, make sure a note directs the bank to deposit it in Peace Lutheran’s account.)

3. If you also have an account at Choice Bank, you can set up an automatic transfer of funds from your account to the church account. Or simply call them and request a funds transfer.

4. If you bank at another bank, you can set up a transfer to Peace Lutheran’s account through your banks bill pay service.

Electronic giving is encouraged in the church, now might be a very good time to set that up for your household.
