Gideon Clark (Sept 24, 1722-1807), married Mary Munn. He was born in Northampton to Nathaniel Clark, s/o Mary Strong, b. May 13, 1681, d. Nov 23, 1767, m. Oct 26, 1705 widow Hannah Catlin nee Sheldon, d/o John and Hannah (Stebbins) Sheldon of Northampton, b. Aug 9, 1684, d. Feb 13, 1764. He was a farmer at Northampton, MA. Her first husband was Joseph Catlin.

John Sheldon built the historic "Old Indian House" in Deerfield, where he lived during the Deerfield Massacre, on Feb. 29, 1704. The battered down door, scarred with tomahawk marks, is still on display in the Memorial Hall in Deerfield. Joseph Catlin Hannah's first husband was killed the next day in the fighting. Hannah and Joseph were among the defenders of the Benoni Stebbins house.
