JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Generalist provides administrative and clerical support to the HR Department in the areas of general HR, onboarding and off-boarding, upkeep of HR files and filing systems, recruitment, answering and addressing personnel concerns and training. This position is additionally tasked with the administration of all Field Associate benefit plans and ensuring compliance with state and federal withholdings. It is extremely important for this role to understand the important of privacy as there is continued access to personal and confidential information.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists the HR Director with employee/personnel projects to include mailings, monthly reports & various HR tasks

• Participates in benefits administration to include open enrollment activities, making changes as need, monthly plan administration and auditing, etc.

• Conduct file audit for compliance and form tracking systems to maintain compliance.

• Conducts the administration of all Field Associate Unemployment Hearings, Workers Compensation Claims process, and all other state and federal mandated programs.

• Provide employment references to third parties and provide support to the payroll department as needed.

• Assist in posting job openings to online recruiting sources. Constantly maintain the positing’s integrity to attract and entice applicants to apply for ongoing openings.

• Arrange employment interviews, complete new employee on-boarding process and conduct reference checks.

• Support HR Director with management of career fairs, record retention, annual surveys and sub services.

• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment

• Create, manage and maintain the social media channels for the organization– Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & the Company Website

• Strategically build an effective online social media campaign, engage in branding channels, and promote the organization within the local community.

• Build new retention strategies to reduce turnover while maintaining a quality product for our current and future clients.

• Design, develop and maintain a monthly newsletter geared towards both employee and customer engagement. This includes weekly blog posts and monthly email blast notifications to our current employees.

• Fosters a working environment that is both safe and professional.

• Timely and prompt follow-up with Logic Staffing employees or management regarding issues or matters of concern.

• General office and administrative duties as assigned.

Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as seen fit.

EDUCATION:

• College degree in HR related field or 5 years of equivalent business experience preferred

• PHR or SPHR Certification

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working in or supporting an HR Department.

• Familiarity with HR policies and best practices.

• Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Extremely organized with a keen eye for attention to detail

• Willing to help others, someone that gets true joy out of seeing other succeed.

• Action oriented and self-motived while maintaining adherence to company policy.

• Team Player! And not just on paper.

• Administration experience – Project Management and Audit Schedule Compliance

• Excellent interpersonal skill, able to work effectively in changing environments with a full range of personalities and work styles.

• Knowledge of general office practices, systems, policies and procedures and the ability to appropriately apply the information in specific situations.

• Intermediate skills on all Microsoft Office Software – Outlook, Word, Excel

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Ability to maintain strict confidentially in all aspects of the job
