Belington Wellness Center ClassesWater Aerobics: Water Aerobics provides a cardiovascular workout while minimizing knee, ankle and hip joint stress. This class also features different types of music, which helps motivate you towards achieving overall fitness.Arthritis Aquatics Class:This class offers exercises geared towards those parts of the body commonly affected by arthritis. The exercises are designed to increase range-of-joint motion and muscular strength; all while being done in a soothing atmosphere.Silver Sneakers? Classic Class:Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing up.H2O Cardio:The H2O Cardio class is a safe, effective, and challenging water based workout for all ages, sizes, and fitness levels to get and stay fit. This class will work every muscle group in one workout, helping to build lean muscle tissue and burn body fat. Exercising in the water is very low impact, allowing individuals to participate who might be physically unable to in a traditional exercise environment. No swimming skills are needed for this class… and most of all……..it is FUN!!Step Aerobics:Step aerobics workout followed by muscle conditioning exercises, and topped off with abdominal work and a stretch. This class gets your heart pumping and your muscles working! Silver Sneakers Yoga: Silver Sneakers Yoga will move your body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.Piloxing ?: PILOXING? cardio fusion incorporates cutting edge research and fitness techniques to burn maximum calories, build lean muscles, and increase stamina. This program uniquely blends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with exhilarating dance moves and targeted sculpting and flexibility of Pilates. These techniques are supplemented by the use of weighted gloves, further toning the arms and maximizing cardiovascular health.
