Life Empowerment Series with Terry Helmka: Tuesday, Aug. 20 10:00 A.M.

No Cost/ Sign up at the front desk! Declutter/ Organize for the Fall and Winter! Class is

designed to help you transform your spaces into functional, stress-free environments.

Whether you are downsizing, preparing for a move, or seeking to regain control over

your home, this class offers practical strategies for tackling clutter and implementing

effective organizational systems. Led by Terry with certifications in organizing and

decluttering, the workshop covers topics, including sorting and purging items, creating

storage solutions, and maintaining an organized space long-term. You will learn how to

make decisions about what to keep, donate, or discard, to achieve a balance between

functionality and comfort. Class emphasizes emotional aspects of decluttering, providing encouragement through the process. Whether you are a senior looking to age in

place, a busy professional, or anyone seeking a more organized life, this workshop is

your first step towards a clutter-free and organized home, perfectly timed to prepare

SHIBA-The Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors program is a statewide

network of trained volunteers who educate and advocate for people of all ages who

have Medicare. Counselors help you understand your rights and Medicare insurance

choices. As part of the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner,

volunteers and services are unbiased. SHIBA assistance will be here on the 2nd

Monday of each month. Call 360-755-0102 or stop by the desk to sign up to attend.

ART CAMP FOR ADULTS WITH DEE DOYLE

During the months of July and August, 12:30 pm to 3 pm on Thursdays.

Acrylics artists will enjoy playing, and ※mixing it up§ by exploring mixed media elements, such as monoprinting with gelli plates, making collage papers and using them in

paintings. As well, the use of gels, pastels, pen and ink, stamping and stenciling, and

texturizing with whatever will be explored! Each week, Dee will provide some coaching

and instruction on how to use certain elements, but the rest is up to you. Each week,

students will bring their regular complements of paints to class, Dee will provide some

of the gels, mediums, pastels, pens, etc. Casses are drop-in, and the cost per class is

Ukulele Fun & Song Circle每 Every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.

Have fun strumming and singing at the Ukulele Fun & Song Circle.
