Purpose for an Interactive Math Notebook (IMN) Mrs. McNabb’s Sixth Grade Math ClassThe IMN: Helps students organize sixth grade math notes and thoughts.Houses home enrichment assignments and all graded assignments. Is a good resource to study for tests and improve math study skills.Addresses varied learning styles in and out of the classroom.Will indicate concept/skill’s ability level.Houses revisions.Will be a resources for parents to view math learning.Is a portfolio that track math growth over time.Mrs. McNabb’s math students will maintain an IMN for the entire school year.
