This project will help you learn more about the Roman Empire. You will have some time in class to research your topic but you may need to put in some time after school or at home to complete your project. You will have access to materials and the computer. Each person must complete a 1 paragraph informational essay on a topic from the list below. Each class period will complete a Google Presentation. Please share your Google Presentation with your teacher. Your 1 paragraph essay will be turned in separately. You will earn an individual grade on your essay and presentation. You will earn a group grade on your Google Presentation. Email addresses:

Trade and Travel - Explain the trade and travel of Ancient Rome. (All roads lead to Rome) and picture. 22. Colosseum - What was the Colosseum and why was it important. Picture 23. Gladiator - Who were the gladiators and why were they important. Picture 24. Constantine - Who was Constantine and why was he important? Picture 25. Christianity - Give an overview of Christianity in ancient Rome and Picture 26. Decline of an Empire- What led to the decline of Rome facts and picture. 27. Rome Under Attack - Who attacked and why. Picture 28. End of an Empire - What part of Rome ended and what part lived on. Picture 29. Legacy of Rome - What is our legacy from Rome? What did they leave behind and what do we still use from Ancient Rome today? Picture 30. Roman gods - Who were the Roman gods, what were they gods over and what was their Greek counterpart.
