Teacher

During Lent, and especially on Good Friday,

people take time to remember the journey of Jesus to Calvary.

Jesus loved his Father always.

In his journey to Calvary, Jesus loved his Father to the end. (Pause)

Stabat Mater

Teacher

Lord Jesus, you were sent by your Father to bring us the Good News.

You never stopped showing us God’s love.

Even on the cross you forgave those who were putting you to death.

On Easter Day you rose again to new life.

You ask us to live like you now

so that we will live with you for ever in your new life.

Glory be to the Father,

And to the Son,

And to the Holy Spirit;

As it was in the beginning,

Is now and ever shall be,

World without end. Amen.
