Using between 80--100 words in the INSERT provided, complete the dialogue between you and Pablo by giving your responses.

You have been in trouble quite a lot recently in school and realize you must change your approach to your studies to ensure a bright future. Your best friend Pablo shares some ideas with you on how you should improve.

In assessing the contextual dialogue, the following aspects were considered: adherence to rubric, content, and correctness of expression.

Adherence to Rubric

(a) Length: The response conformed to the acceptable length. (For marking purposes the acceptable length is 70-110 words).

(b) Cues: The candidate responded to all of the five given cues with answers which were appropriate and of an adequate length.

(c) Attachment of INSERT: The INSERT was correctly filled out and properly attached to the candidate's answer booklet.

Content

The candidate used all the cues and provided appropriate responses throughout. Some responses required reading and understanding the given stimulus which immediately preceded the response while others presented the stimulus immediately following the response. This candidate demonstrated mastery in eliciting responses from both forms of stimulus presentation.

The responses were well-organized and clearly expressed, resulting in a dialogue which moved smoothly and was comprehensible. In addition, the candidate was able to couch the responses in language that flowed quite naturally.

Correctness of Expression

The candidate showed a clear acquaintance with a number of expressions, some of which were not of the run of the mill variety. These included a ... Ia vez enojada, me cuesta estudiar tat vez me pudieras.,,, among others

The script presented a variety of tenses both n the lndcatve as well the Subjunctive mood Verb tenses included the Present, Preterite, Present Continuous, Past Perfect, Imperfect Subjunctive. Additionally, the candidate exhibited a sound knowledge of Spanish grammatical structure, for example, the use of the infinitive after poder and querer agreement of all types and the use of the object pronouns.

The level of expansiveness of the vocabulary used was more than adequate for the requirements of this question.

Measures for Improvement

The quality of the work was reduced by the frequency of incorrect spelling and that includes the insertion of accents where they were not required (anterior. tomb/en). Careful attention must be given to correct spelling.

In the last utterance, the candidate should have recognized the need for the Subjunctive mood after cuando when future time is implied.
