Dear parents and leaders of the youth: We love the youth of the church. We have great respect and admiration for these choice sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father they are the future parents and leaders in the church. Our prayer is that we as parents and leaders can help them remain true and faithful to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Stake presidency
? Trains, motivates, and follows through whit the Aaronic Priesthood-Young Women Committee ? Provides periodic training for bishoprics and reminds them of their duties to the youth ? Organizes activities for the youth of the stake
Stake Aaronic Priesthood - Young Women Committee
? Trains stake Young Men and Young Women presidencies ? Ensures that the quorums of the Aaronic Priesthood and the classes of the Young Women strive to baptize new converts and, as
an on-going effort, continue to activate five of their members
Bishopric
? The bishop interviews each young man and young woman at least annually, and if possible, he interviews each 16 & 17 year-old twice annually, following those principles as outlined in Handbook 1,7.1.7
? Ensures that each young man is ordained in accordance with his age and that the ordinance is duly recorded ? Organizes quorum and class presidencies and holds regular meetings of the Bishopric Youth Committee meeting ? Ensures that each young man and young woman holds a Limited Use Temple Recommend, attends the temple regularly, and
participates in family history ? Helps and motivates each youth to remain active and worthy to prepare to serve a mission and complete the Mission Preparation
Class ? Works with quorums and classes to baptize new converts and, on a continuous basis, activate five of their members
Parents, leaders, and youth advisors
? Plan and carry out significant activities, such as mini SOY, mutual, etc., providing opportunities for the youth to lead. They can access the following web sites of the Church as a source of ideas for youth activities:

? Get involved in helping youth participate and work in an organized and efficient way to progress in programs such as:
? My Duty to God ? Personal Progress ? Seminary ? Mutual ? SOY and mini SOY ? Mission Preparation Class
? Help youth gain their own testimony through spiritual experiences, service, and daily scripture study
Youth
? Strengthen their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His Atonement by keeping His commandments ? Gain their own testimony through service and daily scripture study ? Receive their patriarchal blessings ? Participate in baptizing, activating, family history, and temple service ? Prepare to make covenants in the temple, serve a mission, and form an eternal family ? Prepare scholastically in order to become self-reliant
Aaronic Priesthood Quorum Agenda
"The purposes of quorum meetings are to conduct quorum business, learn priesthood duties, and study the gospel of Jesus Christ. Quorum leaders and advisers prayerfully plan the meetings to accomplish these purposes. They encourage quorum members to bring their personal copies of the scriptures where possible. As needed for individual lessons, leaders may also ask young men to bring other Church-approved resources". Handbook 2, 8.11
