Listen on any device that plays MP3 files (e.g. a computer, tablet, or smartphone)

Most are free to download. Go to the websites of local NPR-affiliates, TV networks,

magazines, and other media companies to find podcasts! Use an app like Apple Podcasts (Apple devices only), Google Podcasts,

Overcast, Spotify, and more.

1 Go to podcasts

2 A list of podcasts will appear. Scroll down, then select one that interests you.

3 Or you can select a category you're interested in by clicking on Categories on the upper left-hand side of the screen.

4 Click on the podcast you like. You'll see the podcast's description and the most recent episodes.

5 Click on Listen to listen to one of the episodes.

6 Now, click on the episode's title. The episode's page will appear.

Create a Playlist

You can also create a playlist of episodes from different podcasts and listen to them from your web browser!

1 Choose the episodes you want to add to your playlist and select + Playlist.

2 After you've added a couple of episodes, find NPR's audio player in the top, right corner of the screen.

3 Click the play button to start listening to your playlist.

4 The audio player will expand. See what's next and what you've already played. To skip ahead, simply click the fast forward arrow or click the play button next to the episode name.

Share a Podcast Episode

1 To share the episode, make sure you're on the episode page. You can copy and paste its link. Double-click on the url in the address bar to highlight it.

Once it's highlighted in blue, press CTRL then C ? now your link has been copied.

2 Go to your email account and open a new message. Then, press CTRL and V in the body of the email. You should now see your link pasted. Write your message and send the email to share the link!

3 You can also share a podcast episode by selecting one of the share icons on the left side of the screen.

4 Share via social media or email.

5 When you select the mail icon, a new window will open.

6 Enter your recipients' email addresses, your email, and

your name. Add a message if you want. Then click the

box next to "I'm not a robot" and select Send Email.
