Nongongoma P. Majova-Seane PrincipalGood afternoon Stanton families, This is Principal Majova reaching out to ensure you have the latest information regarding our school’s operations during this health safety situation with coronavirus, also known as COVID-19. All of this information and more has been sent to your email address on file and to our school app, so please check those resources for additional details. First, our spring break has been extended for one additional week. Our intention is to return to school on March 23rd. Again, our expectation is to return to school on March 23rd.? Rumors, social media posts and news reports saying that the state has closed schools for a longer period of time are false.? Second, and this is vitally important, if you have traveled out of the continental United States … if you have been on a cruise, or if a member of your close family participated in any such travel … you must not return to school until you have self-isolated for 14 days and you are symptom free.? We will support you educationally while your children are in self isolation, but prevention of the spread of this virus is vitally important. To report self-isolation and develop a plan for your child, please call our school any day next week and we will work with you to develop a personalized home education plan for your child. Again, if you are self-isolating your child call us at (904)_630-6760, or email the grade level personnel noted below to develop a home education plan for your child. All students who need to turn in make-up work will be able to do so?on March 23, pending any further changes to school operations. Teachers will have time to grade that work and include those grades in the final 3rd quarter grade.9th ?Grade –?
