A partial prepayment will reduce the principal balance of the loan and shorten the life of the loan in order to pay it off earlier. Making a partial prepayment does not alter any subsequent regularly scheduled loan payments and your next loan payment will still be taken. You must be current on your loan to make a partial prepayment. Complete a separate form for each loan that you wish to make a partial prepayment.
