"SECTION 37. 22-52-103 (1), Colorado Revised Statutes, is

36 amended BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW PARAGRAPH to read:

22-52-103. Eligible schools. (1) Any of the following schools

39 are eligible to apply to the department of education to participate in the

40 second chance program:

(e) A COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

SECTION 38. Repeal. 22-52-104 (2) (b) (II), Colorado Revised

45 Statutes, is repealed as follows:

22-52-104. Application - payment. (2) (b) (II) Of that portion

48 of the moneys remaining with the school district of residence, the school

49 district shall transmit two-thirds to the department of education and retain

50 the remaining one-third for implementation of its requirements under the

51 second chance program. These payment procedures shall continue as

52 long as the student continues to reside in the original district of residence,

53 continues to attend the eligible school, and progresses in a satisfactory

54 manner.".
