Perfectly located in the heart of downtown Anchorage, the Westmark Anchorage Hotel is prepared to meet both the business and leisure traveler's needs. The Hotel has 200 guestrooms and 5,382 square feet of meeting space. Each spacious sleeping room has a private balcony and complimentary wireless internet. Close to the Egan and Dena'ina Convention Centers and right across the street from the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, the Westmark Anchorage Hotel is a popular hotel for convention groups and the hotel of choice for many Anchorage visiting performance groups. The hotel offers convenient dining in the Solstice Restaurant and Bar on the first floor along with a business center and fitness room.

Stop by for a drink before heading off to a show at the nearby Alaska Center for the Performing Arts or relax after souvenir buying at the neighboring 5th Avenue Mall. We have seven micro brews on tap and a great selection of wines by the glass.

BUILDING HISTORY:

Built in the 1970's and originally named the "Royal Inn," it later became the "Sheffield Anchorage Hotel." The Hotel was purchased by Holland America Line in 1987, and renamed "Westmark Anchorage Hotel." Each of the 200 spacious guestrooms offers private balconies that afford views of the city, mountains or Cook Inlet.
